Cozy Beach Cottage in Punta Cana

This is a classic beach home with cozy open spaces a to relax in after a day in the sun. The pool is one of our favorite guest spots, it includes a bbq and is perfect for night entertainment. The house is located in Punta Cana Village, a residential beach condiminium which includes restaurants, bars, a grocery store, and other amenities. The beach is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the most popular beaches in Punta Cana: Juanillo and White Beach. The house includes a cook/cleaning lady.

A super pleasant stay, I felt right at home, communication with the host was very personalized, attentive to not being able, her mishis is a love, do not say the Bizcocha, very affectionate, being in her accommodation is a unique experience of the true Dominican Republic, simple, humble but a lot of heart, living with the locals is the real experience, I also recommend that I promise to return, thank you for all Chile, I take you in the heart, to Mexico, Lindo and Querido.

We loved it. But it is kinda secluded, as far as it’s pretty much just resorts to the right and left of us (and you can’t get day passes to any of them)—so you have to be ready to just relax and take it easy, and kinda live minimally while you’re here. There is WiFi and Netflix though 🤣 We walked 15min down the beach each day to a public restaurant called CocoMar — and there’s one other fancier restaurant about a 5-10min walk from there, that we went to the last night. All were recommended by the host! We got massages downstairs at our place, and other than that we just laid out and played card games! It’s a 45min drive from the airport, too. But the host organizes a driver to pick you up! We felt safe and comfortable the whole time.

My wife, 18 year old daughter, and I spent our last two nights in the DR here. It’s a private secluded area in Uvero Alto away from the crowds. The road entering the place looked a little sketch but that’s common in the DR. When you get to the unit at the end of road you have the beach pretty much all to yourself. There is a security outpost close by which is very nice. Not the best area for swimming bc the waves are quite rough, but PERFECT for relaxing on the lounge chairs. The unit was very well equipped: snacks, eggs, bread, first aid kit, beach chairs, bug repellant, outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Host was very responsive and helpful, she even arranged inexpensive laundry service done quickly for us before we loaded our luggage to fly out. For the money, view, location, and service we were very well pleased.
