Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, 2 showers & 2 car places

A gorgeous stopping off place for us en route from the Isle of Skye to the south of England. Particularly loved the living space on the first floor, the 2 bathrooms with rainfall showers and the comfortable beds. The house is located on a quiet back street in a very pretty village-would have been a great base for walking had we had more time. Barry was super responsive, very flexible regarding check in and check out and gave us some good recommendations for dinner. Couldn’t fault it and have already recommended to friends.

Helen and her family were friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely, homely, peaceful place to stay. The cottage is extremely well equipped and spacious. This was my second visit here, hopefully not my last!

St Sundays Cottage

Fabulous stay at St Sunday Cottage. Loved everything about it. Beautiful inside and out. We spent a lot of time in the summerhouse and played the games provided. Sitting outside in the garden was blissful and when it was cooler the central heating and log burner made it very cosy. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was very comfortable, wonderful rain shower. Very helpful and responsive host, we really didn’t want to leave. Probably the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. Great location for the Dales and the Lakes and Stainton was a lovely village.

Sunny Cottage with Stunning Views

DebbieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful property, really felt home from home as soon as we stepped inside. Lovely touch with the welcome tray and the dog bedding and blankets. Comfortable and peaceful despite being close to road. Garden is very secure although not directly accessible from the house. Upside down property, so views from living room are lovely - bathroom and bedrooms downstairs. The recommended walk up the hill behind is well worth doing - stunning views! Also Arnside is well worth a visit (fish and chip shop is amazing) and the food at both Levens Hall and Strickland Arms (both very dog friendly) is fantastic. Property has everything you could possibly need and is nicely away from the busiest parts of the Lake District while still being close enough to be very accessible. Definitely hope to be back.

Clean apartment with good amenities in a quiet location, near to Kendal high street and train station. I was able to get around and explore the local area with ease on local transport. It was a pleasure stay here whilst I spent time walking in the Lake District.
