Enorm genoten in het centrum van funchal! Appartement was heel schoon en alle voorzieningen waren daar!

We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Alles super! Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos. Die Lage ist optimal. Von dort aus kommt man über all gut hin und es gibt über die Straße direkt ein Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt. Danke !

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Amazing apartment in the heart of old Funchal. Close to all the major attractions. It has everything you need for your stay. Super comfortable living room and bedroom it also boasts 2 complete bathrooms. I highly recommend.

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll und sauber. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet.

Das Haus nahe Calheta war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt! Sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und top ausgestattet – es war wirklich an alles gedacht: ein beheizter Pool, Gewürze, Duschgel, Müllbeutel, sogar Waschmittel standen bereit. Das Haus liegt ruhig an einer kleinen Dorfstraße. Es gibt Nachbarn, aber durch die clevere Lage hat man trotzdem viel Privatsphäre und wird nicht eingesehen. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist traumhaft und lädt zum Verweilen auf der Terrasse ein. Die Lage ist ideal, um die gesamte Insel zu erkunden – mit einem Automatikauto problemlos zu erreichen. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Elvio: Er war jederzeit erreichbar, super freundlich und hatte großartige Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Strände. Auch ein später Check-out war völlig unkompliziert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Haus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

We had a lovely stay in Madeira at this property. Lovely facilities throughout the place, with the pizza oven, jacuzzi and the hammock (our favourite) all very nice additions to the property which were thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. We opted not to heat the pool but the temperature was fine to swim in anyway! In terms of location the area is very peaceful and scenic however at the cost of activities often being a slightly further drive. We did not find this to be an issue throughout our stay however! Definitely recommend renting a car if staying here!

Our stay at the Larimar house was great! Laura was an excellent host and very responsive. Our checkin, stay, and checkout were smooth and easy. The house is in a great location right beside the ocean with a beautiful walk along the ocean possible right outside the door. The location was very central and made it easy to drive to all the hikes we went on. Would highly recommend staying here during your time in Madeira!

Das im Bauhaus-Stil gehaltene Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und neuwertig. Es sind alle notwendigen Geräte vorhanden. Das Haus war gesamte Haus und die Terrassen waren sehr sauber inklusive der Bäder. Der Pool war wie vereinbart beheizt und durch die Abdeckung hat er auch sehr gut die Temperatur gehalten. Fatima hat sich direkt am zweiten Tag kurz bei uns vorgestellt, sie ist sehr nett und wir hatten sofort ein sehr freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Wir durften sogar ein paar Tomaten aus Ihrem heimischen Garten probieren. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub mit Poolzeit und Wandern verbringen möchte, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen wieder!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Horacio. Le logement est agréable, spacieux, très propre, confortable et parfaitement équipé. Vue superbe sur la mer, quartier paisible. Une petite épicerie-restaurant à quelques mètres du logement. Emplacement parfait pour rayonner facilement sur l'ile. Horacio est très accueillant et il lui tient à cœur que ses invités passent le meilleur séjour possible. Merci Horacio pour cet excellent séjour, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Très bel appartement, bien équipé et bien situé pour visiter l'île. Les instructions données par Daniela nous ont permis de prendre possession rapidement des lieux. Seul petit bémol la route, située en bas de la vallée, très passante et bruyante quand on veut profiter de la terrasse en journée.

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

Wir waren am Juni 2025 da. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nuno ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, der uns sehr nett empfangen hat. Des Weiteren war er uns bei allen Anliegen behilflich (z.B. Taxibestellung und Mietwagenorganisation). Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Terasse ist riesig mit Meerblick, genauso wie der umwerfende Blick aus dem Badezimmerfenster. Leider wird aktuell schräg gegenüber ein Haus/Hotel gebaut, weshalb wir von 8 bis 17 Uhr Baulärm hatten. Wir hatten für 10 Tage einen Mietwagen - vermittelt durch Nuno - das können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Aber auch mit dem Bus kann man viel erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants alles fußläufig erreichbar. Es waren tolle 14 Tage und wenn wieder Madeira, dann auf jeden Fall wieder bei Nuno.

Nous étions trois à résider dans l’appartement de Tiago ; le couple dans une chambre agréable donnant vue sur la mer et la montagne. L’autre personne sur le canapé lit avec également une magnifique vue et un petit patio . Les lits étaient faits et l’appartement était très propre avec une cuisine bien équipée et machine à laver . Géniale la terrasse en hauteur pour se relaxer et y faire sécher son linge ! L’appartement est situé sur les hauteurs et il faut monter une jolie côte pour y accéder , il faut avoir une bonne condition physique. Un parking en bas de celle-ci nous est réservé. Tiago répondait à nos demandes presque dans la minute qui suit . Bref un super séjour.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement propre et décoré avec goût. Un petit plus pour la place de parking au garage. Connie était là à notre arrivée et nous la remercions pour sa gentillesse.
