Excellent stay at the cottage, would highly recommend. Perfect location, plenty of space, parking immediately outside the cottage. Clean, spacious bedrooms. The most stunning location with walks around the lake literally on the doorstep. East check in with a key pad system. We most certainly will return. Thank you

Six of us stayed here very comfortably . The kitchen is spacious, weĺl equipped and good for family meals. Parking space is excellent. Within walking distance of the centre of town. Danny was very helpful and welcoming. There's a lovely garden space as well, which we didn't use as we were out most of the time. Thank you Danny

The cinema room is perfect for cosy nights in and the canal is just infront of you for perfect summer evening walks. There is plenty of space for your four legged best friend to also relax and watch the boats and ducks go by! We will most definitely be back, thank you again :)

Overall a great stay. Suzanne is friendly and very responsive when contacted. The cottage is 2miles out of town so handy for restaurants and shops but far enough away to be very peaceful in its secluded location. Useful double garage to store bikes in too. The elan valley in spectacular with excellent cycling walking routes all nearby.

Outfield - Country get away

LoraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family and I had a lovely time here. The house is spacious and we especially enjoyed the outdoor area with the bbq and pizza oven, as well as the games room. The only issue we had was a bad smell (likely from the shower drain) in one of the bedrooms. It would also have been helpful to have a few more wine glasses (only one in the property). Good location for exploring the sights nearby.

Lovely little place for two, nestled in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Place as described and a little bigger than expected. Rest of the site is work in progress as the guys renovate, but the garden (fields!) out the back are fantastic for a quite drink to watch the sunset. Great for walking and biking

Very clear instructions to get to the location with no problems. Place felt at home as soon as we arrived. The site was peaceful and open, all guests were very pleasant. We have a dog and we were greeted by the owners dog who was extremely happy to see us, they had a great time playing freely around the field it was great for him. We have a one year old little boy and he is well on the move at the moment , the lodge was spotless and we were more than happy to let him crawl around. The facilities were great! We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed to do this. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. There was a campsite snug down stairs which I thought was a lovely idea. Bar with drinks to purchase ; from alcohol to coffee. Thanks Steph ! Highly recommend to all 😁

Had a fantastic stay here, the property is in a great location for country walks and a short drive to local amenities and attractions. The property was easy to find and had a really welcoming atmosphere once inside, plus the views are great! There were great walks very close to the property itself and many others within a short drive. We really enjoyed our time here, and the Lemon cake was delicious! I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay with Tim was incredible! From before we got there he was in constant contact with us to meeting us at the door when we got there. He was able to give us recommendations to local pubs and places to visit and even left a booklet with all the information in. He gave us a tour of the cabin and talked us through any questions we had. The location was breathtaking and there was plenty of places to visit in a short distance. We would definitely stay here again!
