Stephens place is a piece of paradise away from home. House is exactly as described, clean quiet and only 10 minutes from portland. Backs onto the beach (2minute walk!!) Stephen was amazing to deal with responsive, helped with reccomendations and so reasonable to deal with. House is well equipt with everything you could think of to!Absolutely loved our time here and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay — the place was exactly as described. We had 8 of us in town for a fishing charter, and the house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, homely, and communication was easy throughout. The games room was definitely a highlight and provided plenty of entertainment. Would happily stay again!

Bushland Retreat-experience nature

What an incredible spot! This was an absolute highlight of our trip along the Great Ocean Road. Helen was wonderful, met us where the pavement meets the gravel to introduce us to the house. Saw two koalas in a gum tree walking the property just 30 min later! Then another viewable right from the front porch, along with what felt like hundreds of kangaroos at sunrise and sunset, all an absolute treat for kids and parents alike. Bridgewater Beach is not to be missed and the cafe/restaurant there may be the best "beachy" restaurant we've ever eaten at, and it's reasonably priced! Gas fireplace made the house extra cozy at night, also lucked into a new moon and stargazing was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Lisa's place was wonderful. The location is stunning. Great views from the house from every window. The house had everything you could possibly think of. So close to the beach for long walks. Highly recommend for quiet weekend getaway with family or group of friends.
