Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

We had a lovely weekend in Kathleen’s beautiful home. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We appreciated all of the additional touches for my baby niece- she loved the books and bath toys! The best part of the house is the stunning views of the coast and St Michael’s Mount- it’s worth staying for alone. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙂

A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed! Deserves more than 5 stars. The location couldn't be better to get straight out to lots of beaches, bars etc. St Ives streets are small and traffic is restricted 930am to 4pm on the street but outside these times we found it easy to unload then booked a parking space 10 mins walk away on JustPark. The view has to be seen, it's even better than it looks... when people stop at the balcony for a picture you know it's the perfect spot - and we helped take a couple of pictures for them from above! The best thing was having a nice glass of wine on the armchairs with the windows open and listening to the waves and watching the change in tides. Spa bathroom was unreal as was everything really. Already looking at dates to come back! We also enjoyed Johns Wine Bar, The Host (had great live music), Mor Beach Cafe for morning rolls and James King for beautiful St Ives jewellery. Thanks again David we loved it all!

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was fantastic, the surroundings were stunning, and everything about the booking process was effortless. Had a truly wonderful time—already planning to return!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house. Great facilities, will be perfect for a longer stay as all the amenities were provided. I wish we stayed for a week but we visited only for one night unfortunately. Would love to be back again! Thank you Joe

Great place to stay and was clean and tidy! Responsive and friendly host who helped with recommendations!

Melissa and David were very welcoming and friendly. She helped with recommendations for walks and food with the dogs and was always contactable. A beautiful little cottage perfect for what we were after.

Oh Wow! Adorable! Such a peaceful, tastefully decorated, cosy and well equipped haven in the woodlands. Literally so easy to get to and fabulously placed for St Ives, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount…. The list is endless. Tina is such a warm and responsive host too. Not only was Butterfly Rest itself beautifully inviting but Tina also, made us feel so welcome through her communications with us. We actually didn’t even eat out…. It was just so nice after our busy days, to come home and prepare food to enjoy at leisure, especially with the view of the squirrels visiting to see if we had popped any nuts or sunflower seeds out for them (seeds provided by Tina)… so cute ❤️ Thank You Tina, your thoughtful decoration and equipping of Butterfly Rest made it a fabulous stay for us! ❤️

We had an incredible stay in a super modern cottage. Emma was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed.

Myself, my partner Claire and our little Pooch had a fantastic stay. The premises was in walking distance to the Fistral Beach. The restaurant recommended at Sea Spray was well received, we enjoyed our Brunch before checking in. Our hosts were great, facilitated an earlier check in than advertised. Would highly recommend staying here, we only wished we had more time.

Fiona was a fantastic host, loads of info and very friendly. the house is perfect for a family stay and we loved the cream teas left for us. there is tea and coffee and lots of other handy bits. cupboards full of everything could need like pots pans cling film tuppawear... the main bed was very comfy and cot bed provided. the jacuzzi was great but we unfortunately didn't use the pool as we were too busy seeing the sights. the garden is amazing and we felt very at home. We really loved our stay and we would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Location was great equidistant from Newquay and Perranporth. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. Strongly recommended.

Our second stay here and we love it. Amazing location, great hosts and lovely home. We love coming to stay for a running event as it’s just ideal. We hope to stay again next year.

We honestly loved it. For a family of 4 with two small kids the location was spot on. Next to The beach and the cutest little park (plus pub ;) it was the dream. The properly itself was perfect for a beach break with a lovely little outside space. The host was so helpful and came back to us very quickly on any questions we had. Will be back again next year - thanks a lot

The studio was a great place to stay, furnished to such a high standard with beautiful furnishings and fittings. The shower was great, the bed is king size and super comfy. Location is central for Penzance, the Lizard, Helson and the A30. Great place to stay for two people and would stay there again!

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

We arrived in the middle of the night and due to tiredness I didn't use the correct key lock to access the property. We were able to contact the owner and they talked us through where we needed to go. they couldn't be more helpful.. we found the property immaculate, excellently equipped, warm, comfortable, straight forward and welcoming. There was a pint of milk in the fridge and tea /coffee to make a much needed cuppa. when we woke the next morning we were greeted with the most beautiful view from our bedroom window. We could hear the waves as if they were outside our window. We honestly could not believe how fortunate we were to be able to hire this property for our holiday. The property, location and owners were all fantastic and we felt so secure and taken care of. We will definitely recommend and return.. Thank you!

Beautiful lodge with stunning surroundings. Inside it is decorated lovely and in pristine condition. The shower is a great asset, lovely and hot looking over the meadow. Laura the host is a very bubbly friendly host with great recommendations! I would highly recommend this place for a lovely get away.

just spent a long weekend here and it was perfect. it was everything that we expected from the description when booking. Laura was very helpful and quick to answer our messages. we felt at home instantly on arrival. everything was very clean, tidy and very well equipped. Will be boking again.
