The sweeping coastal view from our town centre apartment is the same one described by Virginia Woolf in her novel To the Lighthouse, inspired by summers in St Ives: 'as far as the eye could see, fading in soft low pleats, the green sand dunes, running away into some moon country'. Quietly tucked away, the apartment is ideally situated for summer and winter breaks, and remote working. The harbour is a two minute stroll, Porthmeor and Porthminster beaches a short walk. Sorry no pets. No smoking.

Less than 5 mins away from 3 beaches: Porthmeor, Porthgwidden & the harbour. 30ft sitting room with a chandelier & window seat with a pretty view down to the harbour & sea glimpses. Over two floors: main floor has a large kitchen with a Smeg range oven, the sitting room has a TV with Netflix access, family bathroom with large bath & rainfall shower. Upstairs: large main bedroom with en suite toilet. The lay-out works well for a large family or 2 couples.

We received very clear instructions on how to find the property, along with supporting photos. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The property had everything we required and was immaculate. Perfect location to walk to both of the main beaches within 15 mins. We had a car but did not need to use it during our stay The view is from the kitchen and living room is absolutely amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Sarah’s cottage is in the old part of town with its narrow streets and is very convenient for everything St Ives has to offer. There is a small undercover designated parking space with the cottage, a rare luxury in St Ives, it is at the other end of the town, however we were able to unload in front of cottage. We parked the car and walked everywhere. A very comfortable stay in this lovely cottage. The place is beautifully decorated. Everything in the cottage is of high quality and has a nautical theme. Lovely views from the main bedroom across the bay. Restaurants, cafes, shops, fresh bakeries, several sandy beaches, galleries small and large, the Hepworth museum, all within a few minutes walk, including the Tate. Great for walking, exploring the quaint streets and the wilder coastal paths. There is so much to see and do and this cottage was lovely to come home to after each busy day. Great attention to detail, we wanted for nothing.

Lovely place. We had a fantastic time here. Perfect instructions. Found and got in the property without a problem. The property is spotless and could not be in a more perfect location. Milk in the fridge in a spotless kitchen all ready for a cuppa after a long journey. Brilliant communication from Hannah.
