The house very clean, tidy, with everything we need in the kitchen and the rest of the house The owners are very friendly and very helpful! We felt right at home and so do our big guys! It has a huge area, the pool is great!

We truly loved our time here and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. One of the many highlights was sharing meals out on the deck, enjoying the company of old friends, a glass of Alentejo wine, and the stunning views across the reservoir. The house is well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, chairs, tables, and cookware for a large group, and the kitchen has everything you need if you enjoy cooking. We also made good use of the grill and the pizza oven! Outside, the pool is set in a beautifully maintained and private garden. While you can hear a little road noise at rush hour from below, most of the time it feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded — like your own private world. The house was spotless when we arrived. Marina was an excellent host: always quick to respond to any questions, and when we had an issue with the washing machine, she had an electrician out to fix it straight away. Marina's house was perfect for us, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay in the Fontanheira houses, without a doubt I give 5 stars. The house has all the conditions for a couple with 2 children, very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. My daughters say it was the coolest house where they stayed, they loved it! But note to those who have smaller children, that access to the mezzanine can be a bit dangerous, because the stairs do not have lateral protection, which for us was not a problem, as my daughters are already older. We stayed in the house farthest from the pool, which has a stunning view to the mountain (I don't know if the side house will also have). Great house to disconnect from everyday stress and recharge batteries in the middle of nature.

We loved the stay. It is possible to have peace and fun at the same time through contact with nature, whether through the beautiful landscape or even the dam. André is extremely attentive and Montezinho has everything a guest needs to enjoy their stay. All the items in the house are extremely tasteful, which allowed us to feel at home.

We had the most wonderful time here - the gardens are truly magical, especially lit up at night. The architecture of the two buildings and the grounds is really something special - and everything has been thought of to make a comfortable stay. The town, a short drive or walk away was so special to have on our doorstep! Raquel's recommendations for shops, places to eat and drink, and a local swimming river were exactly what we needed. She was super speedy communicating throughout and we felt very taken care of. Will be visiting again very soon!!

Carmen and her mother were excellent hosts, super accessible and extremely friendly. The house is very beautiful, in a super quiet area where peace and quiet reign. Repeating no doubt.

When things are done with love and dedication, it shows, and that's what you'll find in Márcio and Natália's house. The house is very clean, with beautiful decoration and with great attention to detail to spend a stay as if you were at home. The garden is impressive, a natural paradise, with a stream that passes through it that will make you feel very relaxed. A wonderful setting, surrounded by nature and with very nice routes for taking walks. The hosts are very thoughtful, every morning they left us several surprises that we loved, they treated us as if they had known us all their lives. We only have words of gratitude for them. We would recommend this place a thousand times over. Thank you very much for everything, I'm sure we'll see each other again.

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.

A wonderful weekend, we ended up staying another day, and it was totally worth it!! Reka and James are wonderful, kind and kind people. Let's do it again, no doubt! I recommend to everyone that you want to rest and recharge batteries. It's truly a pearl in our dear Alentejo 🫶
