Mountain View 1 Bedroom Suite - Unit 3

Brian's little place is perfect for a couple to explore the bootheel of NM, and, in 80 miles visit Bisbee, or cross into Mexico. The apartment is small, but very nicely appointed, with decent internet. highly recommended

Deer Haven Hideaway

GregoryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kathy was a great host. Awesome communicator & accommodator. Everything was as described. Interior was nice, as was the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, all toiletries with extra bedding, etc. Everything was nicely stocked (coffee) as you can tell Kathy looks out for her guests & understands peoples needs. We were there for an astronomy trip & the skies didn’t disappoint. I haven’t seen a review at all about astronomy observation and imaging at this property. This is a big unobstructed sky with a 360* view. This home & property is an astronomers paradise. I’ve been to many & seen darker skies but these are dark and won’t disappoint We were observing scorpious aT 930 PM in May. Could never do that at home. Just bring a tarp as it’s dirt. This is rural and it’s great. Also, obviously wild vegetation so bring allergy meds. With that said, no matter your reasons for renting here, it a great & well maintained with TLC along with a great host. Astronomers, this place is good, believe me.

Cienega Ranch- Guesthouse SouthWest Working Ranch

CraigRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The ranch house is very quiet & comfortable, right next to the original cienega (now a pond, managed by Lucky the goose). We felt quite at home. We are birders & the sky island of the Chiricahua's is one of the gem's of American birding. It was a perfect location to enter the avian portal from.

The Adobe Homeplace

DereckRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed a weekend to go birding at the Chiricahua national monument. The place is about 25 min away. So very close. The home is a sanctuary. The appliances, crockery are top of the line. The outdoors are really nice and quiet. We loved the library. There are a variety of real good books. We did not miss the internet or TV. It's an amazing place to find peace. Thank you for providing the home to our family. Dereck

Log House. Rodeo NM/Portal AZ

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kellye's listing is an absolutely beautiful home. As other guests have mentioned, you cannot beat the sky gazing opportunities and peaceful surroundings punctuated by the occasional distant lowing of a cow. The property was very easy to find, access, and receive info regarding the property itself as well as information regarding local amenities and activities. Spotless, well-appointed, and with excellent wifi, you hardly need anything except for your own groceries. Nice central area in the home of kitchen/dining/living room for family gathering as well as a lovely porch. Our interest in the area was for hiking the Chiricahuas, and Rodeo is a great alternative for accessing the park via Portal instead of staying in Wilcox. It's a nice drive east from spending the first half of the day in Bisbee. Our family had a perfect few days and would be certain to book Kellye's Home in Rodeo in the future!

Ananda Mandir A place of Bliss

MaliniRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A short distance from Portal, Ron’s home is a wonderful option for anyone looking for a quiet, secluded and comfortable retreat set amidst an open desert landscape with views of the Chiricahua Mountains. From the moment we arrived, Ron’s friendly and easy going demeanor, made us feel right at home. The rooms and shared spaces are cosy and tastefully decorated with items from around the world. The outdoor areas are equally inviting. As birders, we had a great time each morning watching a variety of birds that visit his numerous feeders. (Scaled Quail walk in and out of his yard all day!) But what really turned a few days stay into a memorable, personal experience was Ron himself - a very hospitable and generous host with whom we spent many an hour talking about topics of mutual interest. By the end of the trip, it felt we weren’t saying goodbye to a host, but to a new friend. Thank you Ron! - Malini & Rama
