Gilles’s place was perfect for my 2 night visit. I stayed in Old Quebec the majority of my time, exploring all of the sights within walking distance (Notre Dame, Chateau, Frontenac, Chateau Saint Louis foundation, Governor’s promenade, Citadelle, tons of shops and restaurants). It is also close to the ferry to take you across the river. His home was very charming, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I loved having a window to enjoy the fresh air and view of the street. I would recommend an eye mask for sleeping if you are sensitive to light, as there are street lamps just outside. It is further away from the restaurants a bit off the beaten path, which made for nice sleeping. There were no other guests during my stay, so I had the bathroom all to myself. I would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay that's relatively close to Old Quebec! Melisa's very nice and welcoming and was more than happy to answer questions that i had. J'ai passé un moment incroyable chez elle et je sais que tous ceux qui choisissent d'y séjourner ne le regretteront pas. Her two cats were a bonus, elles me manqueront!
