I and my family had a lovely stay. Great hosts, very well equipped spotless property. Acted as a great base to explore Ness and wider Lewis & Harris. Fabulous croft-side location, a real sense of peace and Hebridean charm. Highly recommend.

Eoropie, Ness, Isle of Lewis, Na h-Eileanan Siar

We had a lovely stay in the annexe - which is actually a lovely one bedroom house. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the furnishings. The shower was great - double shower with rainforest shower head. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept so well. Lighthouse and lovely beach just along the road but there are glorious beaches all over the island - stunning! Highly recommend Joanne’s ‘annexe’ which was just lovely to head back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us stay 😁

Teach theSeada

We had a lovely peaceful holiday at Taigh an t' Seada. The house was immaculately clean, bright and cosy. Every detail was thought of and there wasn't a thing we could fault. We had a lovely welcome from Andrea and Willie and felt at home straight away. Ness is a quiet and peaceful but very welcoming place. The house has a lovely location with spectacular, elevated views across to the Port of Ness and beyond. The delicious cheese, wine (and chocolate for the kids) was a welcome bonus and we absolutely loved seeing Andreas weaving of Harris tweed. My daughter loved her wee sample which she has been wearing as a scarf since. We enjoyed dinner out in The Breakwater and all of the local walks and beaches. We were happy to travel for the other sights, including down to Harris, but we always felt like we had arrived home when back in Ness. This house is a wee gem and we would thoroughly recommend a stay here for comfort and local charm. Thank you for a perfect base for our trip to Lewis.

Eagleton Lodge

Peaceful and comfortable but stylish lodge, just a 5 minute walk from the nearby beach. We loved the colour coordinated restful green tones and Wendy's drift wood handles and trimmings. Our welcome gift of bread & flapjack and a window looking on to Wendy's bird feeders made us feel right at home. Definitely worth more than one visit. If we had known about the mobile sauna on the beach ( not there all the time- check Saltbox Sauna for dates & locations) we would have brought our swimming gear. Thankyou, Wendy for a lovely stay.

South Dell Pod Isle of Lewis

We had a lovely stay here. The pod was perfect - a lovely quiet location with a great view over the fields to the sea. My wife loved the chance to feed to lambs. Excellent location for getting away from everything but being able to travel around the Island. Highly recommended.

Unique luxurious cabin on sea view working croft

Beautiful cabin with amazing sea view. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of amenities for a small cabin, although it felt bigger than I had expected. Great communication from Karen and Gareth.
