Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Port Isabel

We had an excellent stay at this property. Daniel was a great host and met us when we arrived to ensure the onsite EV charging was available to us. This property worked out really well for our stay and we will look into staying here again the next time we are headed to the Rio Grand Valley.

Frank was very responsive and would answer within the hour, the house was clean, everything we needed for kitchenware was there and the smell of the overall house was nice, clear instructions aswell.

Extremely pleased with the place. Was as pictures and description listed. Obvious that the owner maintains and takes pride in the place. We were only 2 people so not having a second bedroom was no issue. Would be tight to have more than 2 people as there would be very limited room to have the sofa bed open. What is lacking in space inside is more than made up for by the beautiful and spacious decks outside. We loved taking the chairs from the upper deck down to the dock area for breakfast or just to sit in the evenings. Emiro responded promptly to a couple of questions upon our arrival. We would DEFINITELY want to book this place again when we return!

Sergio was great, the place needs different couch and chair, directions for fans and lights, garbage disposal is broken, never did figure out how to reset temperature on refrigerator to keep items from freezing.

The house is beautiful. To me, even more beautiful than in the photos. There were plenty of amenities which were exactly the way they were described. The host was responsive even at late hours. This location is walkable to many different restaurants and the beach, and many delicious restaurants are within a short drive from the location. Overall, a great space.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! We felt safe at all times, we were close to the spots we wanted to see and when we weren't cruising around, we had a relaxing time by the pool! We definitely will be back!!

This home is beautifully situated on the bay in Port Isabel—just far enough from town to feel peaceful and private, yet still conveniently close to stores and restaurants. Located within a quiet, gated subdivision, the neighborhood feels safe and secluded. Guests have access to a lovely swimming pool, a children’s rainbow swing set, a picnic area, and a charming gazebo overlooking the water. The home itself sits right on the bay, offering stunning views from the living room window. There’s a small grassy backyard where my grandbaby loved playing, and we made good use of the provided BBQ pit to grill the fish we caught that morning. Overall, it’s a relaxing and comfortable place to stay—perfect for both quiet mornings and family fun.

We had a great stay at Raul’s apartment! The place was clean, just like the photos, and in a great location—really easy to get around and close to everything I needed. Check-in was super easy, and the host was quick to respond anytime I had a question. Would definitely stay here again!

We had such an amazing time during our stay. The condo is Close to everything so we didn’t need to drive. The beach was close by and the pool at the location was awesome. Great place for our family trip

Had a great stay, didn’t have any issues and had everything you would need for a nice weekend at the island. Super close to the beach and restaurants, and host was friendly and responsive. I would stay here again!

Very comfortable stay, it has everything you need, it meets what is described, it is a very clean accommodation, the host responds very quickly.

Stayed here with our two grandsons, 5 and 15 years old. I cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it was very accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the pool was clean, and getting to the beach was super easy. The host didn't bug us with multiple text messages but did check in and provided simple instruments. We would for sure stay here again.

We go every year but Laura’s place was by far my favorite trip to south Texas. Will definitely be using again.

this was my first time renting a airbnb and I’m happy I chose this place, a good 2-3 minutes away to the beach, was super comfortable had some space for me to bring my portable crib for my son, they had some essential as well just in case we forgot I truly appreciate the stay here I have recommended you trying this place and give it a chance for the price it is , it was worth it 🙌🏻

Family had a blast!

This was a great place to stay. It was close to lots of activities and had everything we needed! Our host left all the info we may require for our stay and we really didn't need to reach out to them for anything as it was all already taken care of.

It was a nice place to stay! Very peaceful and super easy to check in. We weren’t able to work the tv but the host tried his best to help us make it work. But everything else was perfect.

Beautiful condo with amazing views! Easy beach access, super clean, and stocked with everything we needed—including beach gear. Sea Vista felt safe and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

This place looked right out on the ocean. The place was the perfect size for my husband and I. The entire place is clean and very quiet after 10 pm. It was easy to get to the beach, and there was also a pool and hot tub. There were lots of choices for places to eat. We really enjoyed visiting the turtle hospital and bird sanctuary.

Great place! Susan and Thomas are super nice and always on top of everything. We’ve stayed two summers in a row and already booked the condo for next year again 😊
