We had a lovely stay. We came for the Freedom Marathon, the start was within walking distance. We enjoyed the beach, shops, a very nice park for children and all that on foot. The space was very clean, functional. And we had a very good welcome from Guillaume. We'll be happy to go back

We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

Philippe is a great host, who is very responsive and very flexible. The apartment is great, right on the seafront and very easy to access with all necessary things provided!

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. A practical, well-equipped accommodation with sober decoration, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

Hi The property was great for the 2 of us and as with us was ideal for motorcycles as it has underground secure parking with a lift opposite straight up to the apartment . 15-20 minute walk along the sea front into Cabourg . I would have liked normal beds but the fold down couches were also ok . I would stay there again .

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. True to the description of the accommodation, we spent 2 days relaxing with nature and our animal friends (swans; coypus) that we were able to observe in peace with the binoculars provided. we expect to be back next year. thank you

We had a lovely stay in La Suite des Sables. The accommodation is beautifully and conveniently furnished, all necessities are present. The beamer provides a very luxurious and comfortable cinema experience, this is a nice addition to the stay. The apartment overlooks the beautiful architecture of Houlgate. With nice weather, you only have to cross the street to walk to the beach, and the apartment stays pleasantly cool at high temperatures. This stay is highly recommended!

A great place to stay if: 1. You are visiting the D-Day beaches, especially Utah, Omaha and the American Cemetery, and Gold Beach, and some of the museums. Or if: 2. You are looking for a place that is calm, quiet, tiny community. Alexander’s place is easy access in a sort of out-of-the-way area, not much for services around. There is a Total petrol station to the east, and a bit farther U Express grocery which is fairly large and has a good selection. I recommend this place highly for a stay in Normandy, close to the attractions. Be sure to test the crepes at Aux Délices d’Alice a few km to the west in Vierville-sur-Mer. It is a tiny food wagon next to the highway; I believe there is a walk in restaurant there also.

This is a wonderful little Normandy town. The apartment has wonderful European quality windows, and I often opened them and sat looking out at the walkway along the waterway, bringing in the ocean breeze. The buildout and fixtures are of high-quality. The bed is very very comfortable. Note that it is up two flights of stairs, but hey, that’s how you get a view of the harbor. Geraldine was extremely responsive, informative, and polite. I actually ended up extending by two days because I liked it so much. I highly highly recommend this stay!
