Very well-kept property with attention to detail! In addition to the full cleaning. The directions were clear and the location is good for getting around by car between Liguria and Tuscany. Street parking in front of the entrance gate, quiet area with the charm of the river. The description of the structure is accurate, so the only thing I would point out is that it may not be too suitable for those who have problems climbing stairs, as it is arranged on three levels.

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great house with amazing views. We used the pool a lot as it was very hot during our stay. Francesco and Serena were very nice and helpful. They booked a cooking class for us, which I highly recommend. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence, as it only takes about half an hour by train from Rufina.

Giacomo greeted us right away once we areived to his beautiful home. Him and his wife navigated us throughout the home and described how to use all the amenities. He was kind and always available when we needed something. The home is beautiful, private and is surrounded by gorgeous nature. I highly recommend Giacomo's home. Thank you for everything!

The place is really in a fantastic location. Quiet and surrounded by olive trees. By car, you can reach Pescia in 10 minutes, where there is also a larger train station with a Park and Ride parking lot. From there, we took the train to Florence. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The house is very cozily furnished and you have everything you need. Deborah is really a great host - warm and you feel totally welcome. When we arrived, we already found small items in the refrigerator as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Deborah is also happy to give recommendations for the area and is extremely helpful! Thanks for the great vacation, we were definitely not there for the last time!

We were there from May 31 to June 13, 2025. A great stay in a beautiful authentic house, with a pool in the spacious garden. Car was inside the lockable gate. That's nice. We loved staying in Carolina’s house in Montecatini Alto. It was a lovely welcoming place to wake up in and return to at the end of the day. The view from the windows and the patio is extraordinary and sitting out enjoying it was one of the best parts of the holiday. The house had all we needed. Carolina was a wonderful host; friendly, quick to reply and extremely helpful. The village is a lovely quiet place to stay and we wouldn’t look anywhere else if we return to the area.

Great host - lots of valuable tips and recommendations, even a nice local gift! The house has been recently renovated very tastefully, had all we needed. Area has great views, is very quiet and peaceful! Weekend there is a restaurant 5min walk distance which had great food, nice atmosphere. other places are further and reachable by car. all in all - we would return for a nice relaxing stay!

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund - Focaccia - was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening enjoying the beautiful sunset 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 N.B. Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

We were able to enjoy this amazing place for two weeks. During our first ride up, we were already enchanted by the beauty of the surroundings. Lara's house is on an open plateau surrounded by trees. It is a beautiful house, equipped with every comfort. It is clean and very well maintained. The view from the garden and your balcony is directed at Tassilico. A village you can walk to. Verni is a very charming village where you can walk to from the house. And you can have a delicious homemade dinner and/or lunch at Lara's, let her know. Your table is set in a nice square and you enjoy, excellent! Feels like home. Lara is a very friendly woman and is always ready to help. Has very nice tips to discover nearby. And there are several hiking routes to discover from the house. Through komoot, we have discovered routes, in multiple lengths. We highly recommend Lara's place, if we could give a 6!!

We came back with the memory of the previous year's experience still alive, and this time, too, every expectation was exceeded. The hosts once again proved to be attentive, caring and very respectful of the needs of the guests. The house is cared for in every detail, with impeccable cleanliness that makes it welcoming and pleasant from the first moment. The location is a real cure-all for getting away from the daily routine: immersed in nature, it offers tranquility and a wonderful view. Even with high summer temperatures (35°C), you can stay comfortably outdoors, enjoying a pleasant freshness and regenerating peace. It's the ideal solution both for groups of friends – as in our case, for a reunion – and for large families. We came back and we will definitely come back again. Thanks again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at I Pini, the house was well furnished and comfortable with everything we needed and the view is just stunning, the photos really don’t do it justice! Everything was as described and we had a lovely time there, helped by Cristina and her team’s thorough information provided about the local area and their quick responses to any questions or messages. Lerici itself is a beautiful town with lots of things to do close by, including day trips to the Cinque Terre and Pisa. I am sure we will be back in the future!

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. We had a very nice week at 6 with 2 teenagers and 2 children. Lerici which is 2 km away is a good starting point to visit the 5 Terres by boat. Lerici and Tellaro are also very nice to visit. The accommodation is calm and comfortable. The different terraces are pleasant.

Ignacio and Tamara went above and beyond in the warmth of their welcome and the dedication to their incredible home. An unforgettable experience!

Tatiana is an amazing host, welcoming, nice, friendly, generous. Her place is very special in the middle of the wood, very isolated and quiet, connected to nature, wonderful views. It was restored with a lot of love and tension, and it’s well equipped. Our children loved the animals (dogs, cats, chickens, horse) and the hemlocks between the trees. We enjoyed it a lot. Don’t miss the natural pool in the river just 15 minutes away. Also the special cities of Emilia Romana are wonderful and not so far away.
