Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

A cozy cabin is nestled among trees, featuring a rustic design with a welcoming porch. A fire pit is surrounded by smooth stones, with logs stacked for burning. The grassy area shows hints of fall foliage, enhancing the retreat's tranquil atmosphere.

You will like the place because of the ambiance, the large outdoor space where you can play, football, volleyball or simply relax listening to water, waterfall and birds. You can stay on one of the 3 terraces equipped with what is needed.

There is a sport field, pool, sauna, salt room and a lot of others sports. Great mountain roads for trips, bikes and offroading.

Placed on the right side of the Siloș River, the Natural Reservation ”Cheile Siloșului” is just few hundreds of meters away, having a spectacular view over the ruins of Trascăului Fortress and the sleeping gigant of Piatra Secuiului.

Very nice ! The location is perfect for sightseing, hiking, fresh air and connecting with nature. Ioana and her son Andi are extremely nice. We had very nice talks, sharing tips and tricks for sightseing with local legends, and encouraging life experiences. The cabana verde is providing everything for cooking and sleeping for a perfect accomodation. On the way to the cabana, there are areas without cellular network coverage, so I recommend to use a navigation system with offline maps (just in case), which is also good for hiking. Be prepared to embrase nature, the refreshing stream and beautiful hosts. I highly recommend staying with Ioanna 🤗.

A quiet location, only good for relaxing. The hosts are really welcoming, kind and communicative, willing to help with anything needed. The rooms are very clean, everything is new, tastefully arranged, enough to feel "home". We highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back in a better season and for hiking with a baby after us. Thanks for your hospitality!

The location is extraordinary, a hidden paradise of the Apuseni that takes you out of any daily routine. The cabins are clean, common areas equipped with cooking utensils, campfire etc and the host is a wonder. We'll be back soon!

This is a very special place and I'm thankful for having spent 4 nights at Gabriel's place. Nature lovers are not going to be disappointed here. There are many hiking options for different levels available. But what I liked most is the view from the tent, the quietness, the cats and dogs that are all aroud and who give you so much love. Make sure you bring supplies for your meals (but you will have to carry them down a pretty steep road)!
