Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Polk County

Kathy and David have created a comfortable and tidy getaway in picturesque surroundings, way off the beaten path. The townhouse features upscale decor and bedding. The hosts were extremely communicative and accommodating, providing plenty of support for our special request.

My family and I always try to stay here because Justin’s place is so nice. We have stayed multiple times here to see our family in the area. The back porch is so nice to sit out and congregate with a fire. Very nice setting and surroundings.

A beautiful and remote location. it was quiet and restful. I met some of the neighbors on my walks. It was a well equipped place and we loved the decor. The host has good taste.

Colline and her husband were spectacular hosts We never need anything they couldn’t help us with and The communication was five star, we felt very much at home. I would certainly stay at her property again and recommend everybody to take advantage of this very well placed residence with a truly wonderful host.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at the house! Great space, beautiful outdoor area and fire pit & love the view of the river. We had an issue (nothing with the house) & the caretaker and owner were so thoughtful and kind to our family. We would love to come back and stay!

Jeff and Lori were very gracious hosts you could not have asked for better. The rental was excellent and very secure and felt like home. It sets at the back of the property so you don’t have to worry about noise and just very peaceful. I had a wonderful stay with Kevin and Kendie. They were very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I had a great stay and would 100% recommend Simply Sunny and hope to be able to visit again soon!

It was absolutely one of the two most peaceful places I have ever been to. I wasn't ready to leave, and I will go back just as soon as possible. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed and Gary & Sheryl were awesome!!! If you want a quiet get away, I highly recommend "On the River"!!!

The apartment was very nice and cozy, and the property was absolutely enchanting. We saw so many deer right around the house. Mimi is an excellent hostess. We hope to stay again some time in the future.

If I could give this stay 20 stars I would! What a phenomenal experience. Michael & Hilda’s home is absolutely stunning. Their family and friends we met while being there were so welcoming and friendly. The love they all have for making sure their guest are happy, goes unnoticed. They made us feel like their place was ours. I can’t wait to come back or to another one of their beautiful properties! Thank you just isn’t enough.

Laurie and Daniel They are the best of best and their kind and helpful and make everything wonderful for us. We already have booked another two trip in the future with them next year. We will continue to come there and stay at their place in search of that trophy bass.

Kim’s place is a quiet retreat away from the city. The decor is thoughtful, and made us feel welcome. I slept well in the comfy bed, and the shower is excellent. I would definitely stay again when I’m back in the area.

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

We came as a group of women the night before a rafting trip. We loved having our own beds! The fire pit was enjoyable and there was plenty of seating for us all. We are already talking about our next trip up!!

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin! Very secluded and private, close to beautiful hikes. The pictures do not do this place justice, and it was well stocked with anything you might have forgotten. We will definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Loved that it was pet friendly and allowed us to bring our big guy with us. The amenities were amazing, the fire pit was used plenty. The host was great and communicated with us in a timely manner. would 100% recommend if you're looking for a place that's in the mountains and close to the beautiful rivers and creeks. We will definitely be back in the future.

This cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay! Kirk was amazing with communication and his Dad checked in on us every day to see if we needed anything. So nice knowing you are taken care of! Lovely people! The surroundings were so incredibly peaceful and beautiful! One of my favorite things to do every morning was to sit on the porch with my cup of coffee and listen to the birds chirping! You will love this place! *A tip for those coming with dogs in the heat of the summer: the ticks are plentiful so make sure you bring tick and flea spray for your dog and check your dog before bringing them into the cabin. We used Vet’s Best Tick and Flea Spray and it worked great at keeping the ticks off our dog.*

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It had everything that we needed. We brought all of our food because we like to eat in, however, downtown Murphy has some great restaurants. The amenities were great and the cabin was very clean. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch in the morning and our walks on the trails through the woods with our pup. Tesy was a great host and we enjoyed our chat and hearing about the history of the property. Tammy’s ice cream shop was delicious as well! If you are someone who wants to escape the demands of day to day life and escape to a quiet place to recenter and relax then this is the perfect place. The fire pit was well stocked with wood and chairs. The view is breathtaking. The deer come out in the evenings and there are plenty of fireflies to catch and release. The host was very responsive and polite and friendly to work with. We will definitely be returning as our schedule allows. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I made a stop at this place after a long road trip for 9 hours, and I can say that it is a very nice, clean and quiet place, it is almost in the middle of a forest with a small river that passes a few meters from the house, I would definitely stay again
