Beachfront vacation rentals in Platja de la Patacona

Great apartment for a family looking to visit Valencia and enjoy the beach. Plenty of restaurants and food markets in the area within easy walking distance. $15-$20 taxi rides into the old town of Valencia. We booked our own trips to the airport but the hostess had her recommendation. Parking available for a rental car which we did use for one day, but in general you don't need a rental car. One point that might not be totally obvious...there are two porches - one facing the front (beach), and the other facing the back (street). Helpful because you can either stay in or avoid the sun as needed. We hope to return some day. Valencia exceeded my expectations, and I've been to Madrid and Barcelona many times (not that those aren't nice cities as well).

Loved everything about this home.. notice I used the word home. Lovely homey touches throughout. The tile work is simply beautiful, the view is breathtaking, the garden is so serene. Very fun yet relaxed area with very friendly/nice neighbors. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The apartment was as described, location right at the beach which is a dream. Very nice opportunities to sit outside, either on the private balcony or on the rooftop. It is shared but each apartment has their own space. It was also clean. A car is absolutely necessary. The next supermarket is around 5 minutes by car but walking would be really far, as the apartment is located in a small village. Would absolutely recommend, just be aware that you will require a car and there is not much around. However great apartment for relaxing, enjoying the beach especially for a family

We stayed in the house for 10 days at the beginning of June 2025 and were completely satisfied. We especially liked the exquisite location right by the sea as well as the spacious garden/pool area. The pool is fenced, which was perfect for our children (4 years and 1 year old). It is simply fantastic to see the sea from every corner of the house and to fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the sea. The beach right in front of the house is more of a pebble/stone beach, but we knew that. This has the advantage that the beach section is not overcrowded. You should know that there are hardly any restaurants nearby (within walking distance), so you should better prepare for cooking in the house - also against the background that the restaurants in the area (about 10-15 minutes or longer by car) are only open in the evening from 8:00 pm. Valencia is about 35-40 minutes by car.

Pros- For us, this place checked all our boxes and we gave 5 stars. The apartment was very clean, tidy, stocked kitchen, starter trash bags, plenty of dish soap, and toliet paper. The view is literally 360° and stunning. Both hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Elevator. Plenty of parking. Super close to Valencia Old Town and Aquarium (about 15 min drive). Cons- These are for full disclosure, but did not affect us directly. In order to maximize views, there is a lack of privacy and only one room (the twin) is fully enclosed. Even the shower has a window looking to the living room. Odd, yes, but the views didn't bother us and were gorgeous. One shower did not have hot water (hosts were quick to offer a plumber- we said no). There were some random ants around the apartment.

Had a very nice stay at Diana's apartment. Quick communication and a good reception by Carlos. Apartment is beautiful and very spacious, beautiful roof terrace with sea views. Great location 300 meters from the nearest beach and supermarket and eateries also a few hundred meters away.

Carles apartment is absolutely magnificent. The seaview from the apartment is amazing with actually both pool and seaview. We were checked in by Tamara who was so nice and helpful and speaks very good English. The apartment is very well equipped, towels, sun chairs for the beach and all the kitchen utensils you would need. We could not recommend it highly enough and will certainly be back if returning to Valencia. Lovely bars and restaurants in the area with friendly staff ... overall a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing apartment in a quiet area. Marisa is very helpful and we can find everything we need. There is children play area just downstairs and we have all the equipments for play in the apartment like football, mini golf, padel, ping-pong, sands toys… perfect for family with kids. There is a garage with private parking place, only 15min drive to the city center. And supermarket and good breakfast shop in walking distance. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay close to the beach! The apartment is located in a quiet development just 10 km from Cullera, with a terrace overlooking the sea that invites you to relax and enjoy the scenery. It is very convenient to go to the beach, as it is a few steps away. The development has some bars and restaurants, perfect for a quick meal or an aperitif, although for more services it is advisable to have a car and travel to Cullera, where there is everything. The apartment is very well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including towels and beach chairs, which made our days at the beach even more enjoyable. Recommended for those looking for a quiet place, with views and close to the sea, and who do not mind traveling a little to have access to more services. Definitely an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation!

This location is one of the most beautiful places to enjoy the beach, along with stunning sunrises and sunsets. It’s very quiet and peaceful, offering various amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis court, and a playground for babies and kids. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay especially if you have kids.

Photos undersell this place. Check-in was great with Jose Manuel giving us inside tips on where to go. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and it was perfect for our family of 4 - including a 6 month old baby. Felt very safe, the playground was very appreciated by our 5 year old. The cafe FOUR was a perfect stop every morning. The Cabanyal market is just as good as the central market, but smaller and has a good sized supermarket next to it. Cabanyal has some character to it, but it’s so accessible and feels so safe, that it’s charming. The AC in the place was cold and we appreciated the washing machine. A couple notes, it doesn’t have a clothes dryer, but has a private patio with a drying rack that works and it also doesn’t have a dishwasher. We ate out 70% of the time and it wasn’t bad. Also, there is natural light, but it’s not super bright. On the whole, this place was perfect for us, even during the relatively long stay. I would gladly go back or refer a family member.

This apartment was lovely! Its location is perfect – just steps from the beach and super close to a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Great apartment with all the essentials. The location is luxurious, the sea is two minutes away, a grocery store is five minutes away. Tony was very responsive, accommodated us on one important issue, was punctual and pleasant to communicate with.

The stay in Angeles' apartment was wonderful. The cottage has everything you need to make your stay perfect, and there are also extra details that are greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed the views and tranquility that the accommodation offers. The area is beautiful and the house is even more beautiful in person. We'll be back, for sure.
