Condo vacation rentals in Platanias

Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

The apartment is very cozy, in a quiet area, close to the center and at the exit to the main road if you want to visit other cities in Crete. There is a free bus to the center in the area, so it is worth using it, because it is difficult to find parking lots in the city. Eleftheria made sure that tourists felt good here, well-equipped kitchen and necessary things in the bathroom. The apartment is exactly as described in the picture, check-in went smoothly, instructions easy to follow , host very responsive . Thank you Eleftheria for allowing us to stay in your apartment and feel like home away from home. We recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a good experience in Chania.

We had a great time at Pavlos’s place. It was modern and spacious. The kitchen had everything you need including condiments, a choice of coffees, still and sparkling water and a bowl of fruit. There’s also a washing machine and powder to use. The lounge is comfortable. The shower was over the bath and had lovely hot water. The beds were all very comfortable with nice white linen. There was plenty of cupboard space too. The 2nd bedroom is off the main bedroom which was fine for us as we had our grand daughter with us. There’s a lovely big balcony for morning sun or afternoon shade. Pavlos was very responsive to my messages and when we locked ourselves out, he was there within 2 minutes to let us in. He gave us some great suggestions too. We arrived around 9.45pm at night and it wasn’t a problem for his mum to let us into the apartment. The beach is a 5 min walk, old town 10 min and main bus station also 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a comfortable stay.

What a gem! Giannis and Effi were amazing hosts and their place is so beautiful. The terrace was our favourite place to be. I was with my mom who has limited mobility and it was a comfortable stay for her too. You can walk to the Old Harbour from their place easily (mostly flat and then downhill). There is lovely bakery, cute, coffee shop, deliscious Eastern Euro takeout restaurant and minimal right downstairs on the block and the next block. Our fridge was stocked with beverages (water, juice, Coke, beer). Our bathroom had wipes, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They were very responsive and helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport. Will stay here again every time we are in Chania!

Fantastic stay at Kladisso’s apartment. The family was so thoughtful and even sent us some cute gifts throughout our stay and was very accommodating to us. Location is unbelievably convenient to the beach, and an easy 20 minute walk into the main area of Chania. Would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing place with an amazing view. Extremely clean with extremely pleasant and responsive hosts. We flew in late and they even met us in the city centre to pick us up. It’s about a 20 minute walk away from the city centre (easy walk) and the perfect place to escape into quiet without ever being too far from it all. Couldn’t recommend this place more- thanks so much!

What a great studio apartment. It had everything and more! The outdoor balcony was comfortable and useful. Best night sleep. Quiet with darkening shutters on all windows. Best shower and water pressure. High quality linens. Panagiotis leaves wonderful snacks, coffee, and tea, plus a few surprises to get you started. We loved the ambiance when we entered. It truly is an amazing studio apartment in a secure building with a lift, one block to the ocean promenade with many restaurants to choose from. We were thankful to have found this place, and we highly recommend it.

Amazing Stay – More Than 5 Stars! Mpampis’ place in Chania was perfect! The location is ideal—just a short walk to the old port with great restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. We were welcomed with water, juice, milk, raki, fruits, and desserts—such a thoughtful touch! Mpampis is an exceptional host: proactive, kind, and always ready to help. If I could rate this stay higher than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommend!

Very charming accommodation in the heart of Chania‘s historical center. 2 min away from the Venetian harbour.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

Our stay was great! The hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful. The apartment was clean and looks just like the photos.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

The accommodation and generally the complex around it was very well maintained and we felt very comfortable there. The pool and the view from here was really great. The complex is located in the mountains with a view of the sea - really beautiful 😍 Claudia and Marco were very friendly and always available if we needed recommendations for the area 🙂 Overall, we had a very relaxing time 🥰

The apartment was well-equipped and it was located in a small quiet village. When we arrived, there were already basic products in the refrigerator, which was very much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and very well-equipped for a short or long stay. The pool was very clean and we had four chairs reserved for our accommodation. Sandy and pebble beaches are within a reasonable distance of the apartment; there are several to visit in Crete.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely be back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. Thank you Pavlos was an unforgettable vacation !!!!

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.
