This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

This was a perfect place for us, lovely flat, nice touches with bits supplied for breakfast and snacks, we had a great stay here! The flat was very clean, tidy and ideal location in the town center for all amenities. Chris was such a welcoming and hospitable host. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was flexible with check-in. Our two weeks stay was very pleasant, we would definitely return when visiting Inverurie again. Thanks Chris for everything :)

We never wanted to leave! Our hosts were lovely, they gave us so many local tips and things to do. They really made our stay magical. Our children fell in love with the horses, one of whom will put his head through the bedroom window if you open it for him! Plus the adorable dogs, sweet cows across the road, and chickens who gave us fresh eggs! One of the best tips was to go to Fyvie Castle which was incredible. Don’t miss it. Incredibly beautiful and fabulous ghost stories. A perfect place to reconnect with nature and humanity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Posnet, despite the sloping bedroom ceiling! Really private and peaceful, well appointed, good shower room and kitchen area and a nice little private outside space. Lovely hosts, a delightful welcome pack and entertaining birds on the well stocked bird feeder just outside! We used it as a base to visit Castle Frazer and Drum Castle - and there are others nearby. We also took the train in to Aberdeen and enjoyed the Maritime Museum, the Art Gallery and the central park. Strongly recommended.
