Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pisgah Forest, Transylvania County

This house was a wonderful place to host our family vacation. The house had great gathering spaces, a well appointed kitchen and enough bedrooms for us all. Alisha was an excellent host and responded quickly to any request. The location was great for going on waterfall hikes, visiting the Biltmore House, going on an audio tour of Asheville, playing putt putt in Hendersonville and convenient to grocery stores. We loved this location, highly recommend it and are hoping to return.

What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

Great location, great two-bedroom house with all the amenities you need! Our family especially appreciated the high chair and books, toys, and games!

This place was perfect for our little getaway. My husband and father in law wanted to Mountain bike and the ladies wanted to see waterfalls and hike. This place was perfect for both of those. Then add in the wonderful food choices, we have Hawgs Bbq (Delicious) and Big Mikes pizza and local breweries on tap. The place was perfectly stocked with everything we needed.

This place was an absolute gem. It was really, REALLY clean. I think the hosts emphasize how much they clean, and it really shows. It was conveniently located to Asheville. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

we loved this little house! it was perfectly located between Brevard & Hendersonville. the neighborhood felt safe for us. (2 elderly sisters) The beds were very comfortable. and the house was stocked with everything we needed. and given the opportunity, we'd stay here again. Jerica was a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend. this sweet little house!

Beautiful home! We especially loved the big couch in the family room. Comfy beds and the outdoor living space was a huge perk when the weather is nice. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Byrd Box. This home is charming, comfortable, close to town yet private. The homemade cookies were outstanding! We were given several recommendations on where to go and things to do. We would book again.

Carolyn was a very attentive host, her response time was very quick and she was very accommodating! I enjoyed her place as it was very cozy and such a relaxing atmosphere. There was lots to do in the area as far as outdoor activities and the nearby town was gorgeous. Highly enjoyed my stay, and I highly recommend!

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. Beautiful and peaceful place to relax and get away from everything but close to Asheville and other areas I wanted to visit. Very well put together and thought out. I enjoyed the swing on the back porch in the mornings. The spa like bathroom is also very relaxing. For this trip, I was on my own and appreciated that there was a secluded feeling but the owners were above and available if needed. Everything I needed for a peaceful get away was provided. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

This was the PERFECT place for our stay in Asheville. It’s centrally located which makes it convenient to get around, but the property itself is slightly outside of the city center in a woodsy area which gives you that lovely, peaceful feeling of being in nature. The space itself was perfectly spacious for 2 people. Very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen doesn’t have a stove but with a kettle, microwave, fridge, and toaster oven you can still do some cooking if you wish. The front porch is nice for sitting in the evenings. The hosts were very kind and provided some snacks and drinks for our stay, as well as clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations. We loved staying here and if we ever find ourselves back in Asheville we would definitely stay here! Such a great value for an excellent place!

Susan’s place was quiet, clean, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our dog crates inside as well as a backyard and neighborhood for us to walk with our puppies! The sectional was great for movie watching at the end of a day exploring!

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

this was a magical wonderful place to stay. you feel like you're staying up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. It's very private and quiet. It was so cool resting with the side of the house lifted up so we could see our into the forest and hear the early morning birds. Katlyn was a wonderful host. We went on a coffee hike the morning of our reservation and it was a perfect combo with the hike in the morning and peaceful stay in the evening.

Staying at Jennifer’s mountain retreat was truly a magical experience. From the moment we booked, Jennifer was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, making the entire process smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and convenient. The cabin itself was mesmerizing..honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. Every detail of the space felt mindfully designed, and the peaceful mountain views were exactly what we were hoping for. We especially loved the little touches like the hummingbirds visiting the feeder, the incredibly cozy fireplace on the deck, and the charming bee-themed decor. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calming and rejuvenating. This place is a true sanctuary in nature, and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Jennifer, for creating such a beautiful and memorable space! PS: Your honey is incredibly delicious. A must buy!

My family fully enjoyed the one week stay at Rebecca’s house. Everything is as described. The backyard is very beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect - it feels like we’re immersed in the forest, yet we’re just a short drive from town.

Can't wait to come back! So glad to have found this beautiful gem. It was so peaceful & I loved seeing the sheep. Everything was smooth & clear in communication. One of my favorite parts was the hammock out front & all the cute and wonderful decor. Thank you Ms Sharon ~ we're so grateful !!

This little mountainside getaway was a dream. The giant windows allowed for the perfect mountain view from every room and the hot tub and sauna made everyday a spa day! It was also beautifully decorated to enhance the cozy atmosphere of being surrounded by greenery. Everything about this cabin was meticulous and thoughtful. The only thing missing was the neighborhood corgi that we didn’t get the pleasure of meeting, but there’s always next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!
