Downtown Kuopio is 2.5 km away. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment, where there are two lines in 10minutes to the center of Kuopio. From the apartment, you can easily access the Puijonlaakso hiking trails, along which you continue to Puijo. Also next door to the beautiful Frog Pond and cozy park area with beaches.

The place is great! Raija's cottage is compact: small, but well-equipped. Our group of 8 people fit comfortably to spend the weekend. The cottage and the barns were wonderfully cool even though the outside temperature was already higher. The vaulted sauna offered incredibly wonderful and gentle saunas for the whole group at once. Raija gave comprehensive instructions on how to use the cottage. I'd love to come back to the place sometime! 👌🏻

What a lovely little cottage tucked away by a lake. My son and I were on a road trip and contacted Thomas in the late afternoon for a same-day booking. He responded very quickly, and when we arrived two hours later, the wood for the sauna was ready and so were the towels. The place is clean and idyllic. I highly recommend it!

We stayed 5 weeks in this incredible accommodation and if we could have stayed 5 more we would have 🤩 The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the place, which is even more beautiful in real life! It was a really nice surprise The house is perfectly equipped, very comfortable and the cleaning was impeccable when we arrived 😊 We'll miss the beautiful sunsets over the lake in the evening!
