Highway House rural home, private & large area.

We call this rural acreage the highway house. It's located in the country with ample parking available. It also is wonderfully accessible to numerous hunting locales for hunters. It's within 10 miles to the Kirwin Wildlife Refuge, and there's great hunting opportunities for deer, pheasant, and other wildlife nearby. The house is located directly off highway 36, so the roads are always accessible. Large flat screen tv with ROKU, and Wifi are provided. Several recliners in living room area.

Quiet place on the edge of town pet friendly

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

Parliament Place is a charming country brick structure built in the early 1950's. It is intended to be a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life where one can stay secluded, watch movies on the large screen TV , connect your computer or take a walk. The third bedroom doubles as a game room or as we call it, the "rest" room where one can read a book, play cards, put a puzzle together or as the title suggests, simply just relax and take a nap in the basket chair or on the twin bed.

Mary was a fantastic host. She was quick to send a welcome message and quick to make sure everything met our needs. She left some delicious homemade cookies for us on the kitchen table. The house was exactly as shown and suited our needs perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly and respectful of our privacy. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Hill City.

This is a very nice studio nicely furnished with almost everything you'd expect (bring your own shampoo and body wash). It's right on the main street and across from the Willa Cather center. I recommend the Corner Nook for coffee and a quiet setting. Very comfortable to hang out in and nicer than we expected for this small town. A minor annoyance was a street light right outside that kept it a bit too bright at night.

Rochelle’s place was just what we needed to replace a last-minute cancellation. She worked to allow us to check in early and was kind and prompt in her communications. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes and utensils that we needed during our stay. We didn’t really want for anything. The home is located outside of town and was very private and peaceful. If you need to stay in the Franklin area, we would recommend Rochelle’s home.
