Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Sydney’s house was perfect for our family! It was clean, with beautiful views on a quiet, private street. The house had plenty of toiletries, we didn’t need to buy any household items while there. The hot tub was clean and perfect for a breezy afternoon looking out at the water. Sydney was a great host, providing tons of recommendations on places to dine and sites to see. Perfect location to visit both the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor! Would love to stay here again.

Very pleasant place to stay and the owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Very responsive. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

This was our first time in Maine and Donna’s place was adorable! It’s a great location - you can see water and Fort Knox from the yard, and it’s super convenient to both Acadia and a ton of beautiful coastal towns!

We loved our stay! Everything was as described and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook several meals. The view is absolutely beautiful from all parts of the house and we loved the outdoor amenities. Lucy was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations! Would love to come back!

Rented this spot as a way to have everyone stay together for a graduation- the house was perfect! Plenty of space for people to spread out, all the amenities we needed, and peaceful surroundings. Thank you Casey!

This was an absolutely incredible stay! Richard was exceptionally responsive and thoughtful from start to finish. The cabin was exactly as described—beautifully maintained, cozy, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a memorable getaway. The surprise gift bag and handwritten note were such a kind and personal touch that made us feel instantly welcome. The location is serene and stunning, offering peaceful seclusion while still being a short, scenic drive to both Bangor and Bar Harbor—perfect for our itinerary. We truly couldn’t recommend this place more and are already hoping to return in the summer to experience it all over again!

From the moment we turned off the main road & meandered along the lake, we knew this place was special. The home has a beautiful three-story space with peaceful lake views and was spotless—truly grandma white-glove clean. Thoughtful touches everywhere: fans in the bedrooms, extra blankets, kayaks and life vests, a well-stocked kitchen with quality appliances (and coffee!).Gotta admit it was only bagels & yogurt being landlocked Hoosiers we were here for Acadia & oodles of seafood but could have easily hosted a holiday meal in this kitchen. Beds were super comfy with hotel-style linens. One bedroom has a loft! Several gathering places to spread out and a dock to stick toes in the lake. Memorial Day weekend and it was quiet; we spotted deer, foxes, turkeys, and eagles. Steve was a fantastic host: responsive, kind, and checked in to make sure all was well. Great info before and aft check in. Acadia & Bar Harbor an hour away, Bangor 30 mins, hikes and seafood nearby. Absolutely 5++ stars!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Holden, ME! This Airbnb was so nice and clean and pretty close to Acadia National Park. I needed to stay close to work in the park and this spot was the perfect distance away. It was quiet, peaceful, and away from tourist traffic. Also close to gas stations and a grocery store. The hosts were so friendly and nice and we would highly recommend anyone stay here! Thank you Dana + family!

Majestic Point was the perfect accommodations for our stay. We were visiting Maine from PA for a graduation. Pushaw Lake was absolutely beautiful. The house was right on the water. My daughter and her friend were able to use the kayaks, cool off in the lake, and hang out on the dock. They also made use of the air hockey & foosball table. The lake house was very peaceful and private, so relaxing. We look forward to staying at Majestic Point again in the future.

This lake house. There is something about the state of Maine that we love. And now....there is something about this lake house that we love too. The location is great. You feel secluded & away from things, but you are not far from anything. This was our 2nd time staying, & we can not wait to stay again. Hoping to return in October. As the Maine quote goes, The way life should be, is exactly how we feel about the state & the lake house.

We can't say enough great things about this place! Camp Nacho exceeded our expectations exponentially. The views are beautiful. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Amon was easy to communicate with and so friendly. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit! We stayed with our 6 kiddos and they had a blast. So many amazing memories were made during out stay!

My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Michelle was a great host and the property was everything we wanted and more. We honestly found ourselves spending more time just enjoying the property and the surroundings then some of our planned activities. It was truly hard to leave and we would come back and stay in a heart beat!

The apartment treehouse was absolutely pretine. It was decorated beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed. Jennifer and Robert even included local blueberry jam and l honey, which we used on our toast every morning. There were plenty of towels, and the apartment included a washer and dryer. The location was perfect, no traffic noise, just the sounds of a variety of birds, and the tall trees swaying in the breeze. We were able to open the windows and get a breeze in the apartment. They have a new air and heat system in the apartment. We did not need the heat, we did use the air the last night we were there, it worked well. We will definitely stay here again!

What an amazing little place!! Stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary while exploring the mountains of Acadia National Park (about an hour drive pending on traffic) The cabin and property were just absolutely perfect for a getaway. While sitting on the porch at night we got to experience a beautiful owl doing its thing while we listened to the loons on the lake. Just amazing!

We loved staying in the yurt - everything was clean and comfortable and our stay was very relaxing. Definitely hoping to stay here again in the future!

The house is perfect for a short stay near Acadia; it was immaculate and the view from bed in the morning is beautiful. The vintage-looking mini fridge is one of several nice touches. There is no stove, but there’s a microwave and an air fryer. Carla is an extremely gracious and accommodating host. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

The cabin was very comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Everything you need for cooking is already there. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, wifi was amazing. We went kayaking one day and it was beautiful. There are tons of rocks just below the surface of the water near the islands but you can see them because the water is so clear. The drive to the cabin is a long gravel road and thankfully we have 4WD because it might have been harder to get up the driveway from the cabin if we didn’t. There were loons on the pond every day and night but they were fun to see and hear. We also had some hummingbirds visit the feeder at the cabin and loved watching them our whole stay. The water from the faucet is from the lake but it’s so clear you almost wouldn’t know it. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, natural place to relax.
