Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Perry County

We absolutely loved staying here for our honeymoon! It was picture perfect and the perfect escape! The house was beautiful and so clean! We loved the little treats that got left for us! Beautiful hideaway in the middle of Juniata County with nothing but trees around you. Actually, I did enjoy the cows early in the morning, peering over the fence at me. If you want peace and solace, this is your place.

This is the second time my husband and his buddy stayed at this house in Lewiston to go to the races. it's perfect for them they love it and they'll be back

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our ladies group retreat! Susie’s home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities we needed. Every detail was well taken care of, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We especially appreciated the privacy of the property—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. Our group of 11 had plenty of space to spread out and connect, whether we were gathered in the spacious dining room for meals or a craft, relaxing in the cozy living room to do our group discussion, or enjoying time outside around the campfire area with s'mores. There was so much to do on the property, and the setting made it easy to unwind, reflect, and recharge. It honestly felt like home, and it was hard to leave! We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hidden gem getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this location! It was extremely peaceful and the host personally greeted herself to us to make sure we had everything we needed. She also took time to include very small details that were extremely valuable to our stay throughout the home that didn’t go unnoticed!! We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend. 10/10 🙏🏽

From the start, Jordan was an excellent host—clear instructions, incredibly fast and responsive communication, and made everything seamless. The view from the property was absolutely stunning—honestly even better than the photos! The space itself was large and welcoming, with super comfy couches and spacious rooms with big, comfortable beds. The kitchen was a standout: beautiful, fully stocked with dishes, cups, coffee, and even a smart fridge. We especially loved the wireless chargers around the house—such a thoughtful touch. The dock was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, and waking up here was truly a treat. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

This Air BnB is meticulously maintained in a beautiful surrounding, where you can sit on the back deck and either reflect or have joyful conversation. My family enjoyed the short walk to the creek and watching the hummingbirds. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here .

Cory was very nice and stopped by after we arrived to ensure we were set and didn't need anything. only thing I'd make note is location of stay isnt visible from road which makes the stay nice but to find it challenging plus the main road has a median so we had to do many miles to just turn around after missing the driveway so be prepared for that. fishing out front on river was our family's main highlight for sure! plan to stay again

The place was gorgeous and the hosts were great! Response time was less than 5 minutes and they were super friendly. The place was super clean and the hosts thought of every need! Even when the hosts were on their porch and we were on ours, it felt completely private. Great views of the land and creek. Great time and great place!

Stayed here for sprint car races in port royal. Andrew & Sarah’s cabin was perfect for a great weekend away! The weather was not the best but we made the best of it. We were able to enjoy the fire Saturday evening. We were welcomed with a welcome basket filled with s’more supplies. So that was very thoughtful! We plan on coming back next year!

This was the most peaceful expierence staying at the Chubb Retreat. The first Airbnb where we had no complaints about cleaning. if you don't like the outdoors then this place is not for you. It was a nice and relaxing get away we needed before our annual Holy Convocation to refuel and decompress. There is something to do here for everyone. We had ages 2 thru 60 plus. Everyone loved it so much, that we found our annual get away. The host was very responsive, we had some minor issues and notified the host and they ready to help resolve the issue. Even was willing to offer. late check out. Thankfully we did not need it but appreciated the accommodation. If you want a place that feels like home and the host make you feel welcome. Then this is the spot. Our group (especially the young adults) can't wait to go back next year. The home is off in the woods but about 30 to 50 minutes from surrounding towns and about an 1hr from Hersey Park. Great family vacation spot for large crowds.

I liked the house. It was new, clean and private. EV charger is an extra plus. Penn’s Cave and wildlife is a good place to visit and Harshbarger’s Sub is a restaurant I recommend. If I have to mention something to improve, there were lots of ants. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home. I love a small cabin feel and this was perfect. Both myself and my partner enjoyed staying and wish we had more time to enjoy being at the cabin. Highly recommend if you need to get away from the internet and just enjoy nature. Lots of movies and board games available and the beds are super comfy!

Like a home away from home. Clean, easy access to things you might need for cooking, laundry. Peaceful porch with swing and chairs. Comfy living room and bedrooms Better than a hotel.

I had another great stay with Pamela. I couldn’t recommend the host and cabin more as she was very responsive and flexible.
