What a beautiful spot, even more stunning in real life. Very cozy and it makes you feel right at home. The entire building is beautiful and it was delightful waking up to the surrounding golden trees in the morning. The wine Jason left, presumably from his wine shop, was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

A beautiful location on an old farm property in one of the prettiest parts of Maine. Carol and Richard were extremely responsive and are clearly committed to ensuring that their guests feel welcome. Locations like this are Air B&B at its best—interesting and generous hosts sharing their own corner of the world.

Staying at the Lighthouse made us wish we could frame moments in time to take along with us. Our two day stay was lovely and cozy and everything a New England Inn should be :-)

While I had a difficult time finding the cute little house on a dirt road in Lincolnville ME, it was definitely worth the effort. The studio is a large bright room in Victoria’s house with a gas burning stove in case the Maine nights get chilly even in late summer. The room even has a wine cooler as the charming host, Victoria, has a wine business. The no shoes policy is not a problem as I do that in my own house as well…. Sharing the bathroom and the kitchen worked out fine. The only difficulty is the spotty internet service for cell phone calls, texts and computers, but that is explained by being in the midst of tall trees in the Maine woods. The nearby area of Lincolnville Beach is a bit touristy but nice. Proximity to the picturesque towns of Camden, Rockport and Rockland is also a plus.

Had a delightful and relaxing stay. Loved all the interesting art & decor, it reminded me of stays in my grandparent's basement and all the carefully selected chapters of their lives on display. Hosts are friendly, gracious, and shared homemade cheesecake which was an absolute treat! Baked goods and pizza from Megunticook Market (awesome recommendation) made meals easy. Bed was comfortable and linens were soft and delightful, they even had a down throw, my cover of choice for sleeping and reading. I felt right at home but also experienced a getaway to a mountain cabin. Perfect! Wifi was strong and I was able to work easily. A wonderful area to walk in and convenient to Camden & Rockland. I will definitely return!

Our stay at the Captain Bennis House was fantastic. This house is conveniently located between Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor which was ideal for our trip. Dave and Carol were so friendly and gracious. The Captain Bennis House is chocked full of charm and is absolutely beautiful and the view to Frenchman's Bay was stunning. We would certainly stay here again and would also recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Carol and Andy

Great space when visiting Acadia! Nice location, clean space & great communication with the host! We had a few small issues the first night and she was very accommodating and responsive & fixed the issue right away. Thank you! We would definitely stay again if we come back to the island!

Lynn's place was perfect in every way! First, it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Having items like a cooler and chairs to use was so helpful. Second, Lynn is a kind, communicative, and thoughtful host. Finally, the location is perfect for exploring the entire island. One of my favorite AirBNBs, I would happily return!

We loved our room and peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Getting up every morning surrounded by trees and birds chirping. Heather was the perfect host and we absolutely loved all her recommendations, especially our Acadia tour guide Rich. Don’t hesitate book this place!!!

Dindy’s Room with a View is a calm retreat where you can sip your morning coffee and watch the shifting tides amidst the changing light, and if you wake early enough, the sunrise through the windows or from a bench specially placed alongside the private pier. We were charmed by the local visitors: yellow finches at the feeders, the resident fox, and a pair of mallard ducks, the male standing watch over the female as she ate, and vice versa. Getting to meet our host and share some stories was a special treat.

One of the best, nicest and cleanest place I have stayed. You could tell Chris and Deb put a lot of thoughts to make the place nice. Many cute vintage furnitures. They are very considerate. One example is wherever you would need kitchen towel or tissue plate, they are there already. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay at this cabin. Suzzane was very responsive and helped us check-into the cabin even though we reached a little late. The cabin was extremely pretty and well maintained and had a well equipped kitchen. The surroundings were beautiful with a quick walk to the waters. We also enjoyed the fireplace. Suzzane and Tom were helpful and sweet. Had a great stay overall.

We loved staying here! Susan was a great host, very responsive and thoughtful leading up to and during our stay. We loved the outdoor area, the space was comfortable and clean, and the location was easily drivable to Acadia. Would definitely stay here again!

If you're traveling alone and looking for a cozy place to stay that's near Acadia and Bar Harbor, this is the place for you. It's private and peaceful, yet convenient to everything. The views across the street are amazing. (The pictures don't do it justice.) The hosts were communicative without being intrusive. I really can't recommend this place enough. A private entrance, off street parking, full kitchen, tons of books... What more can you ask for? I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to the area!

Angel was a kind, helpful host. Her property was beautiful…pics did not do it justice. We were accommodated last minute, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable an apartment above a garage ended up being for us. It was well stocked, spotless, decorated beautifully, and so well thought out with lots of nice small touches everywhere (like plug ins for chargers by the beds). The view was pretty in the winter, and I imagine it would be way more so in the warmer months. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I recently had the great pleasure of staying in JoAnne's "A Little Dream" carriage house in Camden, Maine. The carriage house has two suites. Both are lovely but, for our stay, we chose "IsleWatch," a beautifully decorated space with great attention paid to every detail, and the most comfortable king-sized bed we have ever slept on! It's larger than a typical king and is covered with fine linens for a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was also luxurious with its large tub (it has a shower as well) and big, fluffy towels. We felt at home immediately. In the mornings and evenings, it was an added treat to sit outside on the fabulous covered terrace with views of the garden and of the water. This spacious home away from home had all the amenities you could ask for (including fresh cut flowers from the property's gorgeous garden), and the hosts, JoAnne and Bill, could not have been nicer. We felt very pampered having hot coffee delivered to our room every morning (just outside our door for optimal privacy) and our every need anticipated and tended to. JoAnne was always attentive and has a wealth of knowledge about the area, which she loves to share with her guests. She clued us in to the best restaurants and sights in Camden and its neighboring towns. It was an ideal setting for us and a great location -- a pleasant walk to the heart of Camden. We have already booked our next stay at the carriage house and can't wait to return. Thank you, JoAnne and Bill!

A large and lovely unit just as described. Just like visiting your aunt's upscale Midcoast home. First floor unit with nice sunroom and furnished patio out back. Kitchen includes everything you need plus some. Short, easy walk into center of Rockport and harbor.

We stayed here 3 years ago and loved it then and still love it. Dale and Susan are terrific hosts, very friendly and accommodating. This was very convenient for our many ventures around the area. We loved waking up to some of the most beautiful sunrises we've ever seen in this State. Thank you Susan and Dale. We hope to see you again next year.

Let me just start off by saying, this place was absolutely wonderful! This little cabin had everything you would need and then some! The neighbors were very respectful of my privacy, always willing to give a hand if needed. Joey nailed it on the head, I would 100% stay here again and I honestly plan to in the near future! You can’t get much better than this for the price. Thank you again for being an awesome host Joey!

We (three adults) had a quaint and wonderful 5-star stay. Hosts were very responsive. Loved the convenience to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Had all that we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bath. Meeting their two sweet dogs was a bonus. Highly recommend staying here.

We stay at Kelly's 2-3 times a year at this point as a family of 4. Fantastic host. It's become a home away from home while travelling for work.

My stay with Ann was perfect! Everything was comfortable, well maintained, clean, and as mentioned in the listing. I appreciated the clear information book she provided as well as how easily accessible everything was. Definitely bonus points for the soaking tub (talk about life goals)!

My husband and I loved our stay at Drift Away Studio. It was the perfect home base for the Acadia Half Marathon and exploring Acadia National Park. It was the cleanest Air BnB I’ve ever stayed in. The studio is in a nice, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. Lesley and Basil even left us each a can of Moxie to try! I appreciated that Lesley provided a nice booklet of helpful info including personal recommendations of hikes and restaurants. Even though the kitchen doesn’t have a stove, you can still cook up a quick breakfast or lunch with the tools provided (electric skillet, toaster, microwave, crock pot, dual coffee/Keurig). I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
