Perfect spot away from most of civilisation. There is a little traffic directly past the house to another house on the property which did surprise me a little bit. Beach is very kid friendly and a perfect place to watch sunset. Some things in the house could use a little bit of an upgrade like the old gas oven to which the igniter doesn’t work on, hard to use tongs, or unable to hotspot phone to the tv. Even though off the main path, not too far away from most places. Great stay

it's hard to add to all the positive reviews left by other guests except to say that all the nice things people say are true. It was all the thoughtful home touches that made the stay so special. We especially enjoyed walking to the surf life club and enjoying a beer as the sun set. thoroughly recommended!

The perfect romantic weekend away! Peggy and Darian were so kind and thoughtful—even though they weren’t there in person, check-in was seamless and they were quick to respond to any questions. A gorgeous house in a fabulous location with wonderful sunset views over the harbour. We loved our stay in Penneshaw, easy walk to the cafes, pub, grocery store, and our penguin tour. Liz and Scott were very communicative hosts and check in was a breeze. it was great having access to a dishwasher and a washing machine. Would love to stay again if we return to Kangaroo Island in the future.

My partner and I had a fantastic last minute two night stay at Rachel's. She was very accommodating and helpful on facilitating us staying at short notice. The unit had a beautiful view of the water and was very comfortable, tidy, and well equipped with modern amenities. There were thoughtful touches throughout the place - it was clear the hosts had put in extra effort to make guests feel special. We enjoyed a rejuvenating stay and lovely food and drinks in easy walking distance. We'd happily recommend staying at Rachel's place and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Kathy’s place was great and worth the money. It was as described and photos provided. Place was super clean, lots of cooking utensils and kitchen stuff to use. Convenient parking and checkin was super easy. Highly recommended

Our 2 br unit was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Close enough to the town centre - supermarket and cafes and worked well as a base for the rest of the island. Kirsty made contact during our week's stay to make sure we had all we needed and we sure did.

Quiet, peaceful surrounds with lots of birdlife. Perfect location for chill out time. Dirk and Zanne are friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.
