We are located 4 miles from Gooseberry Falls State Park with the start of the Gitchi Gami bicycle trail and 2 miles from a Superior Hiking Trail head. Walk up 15 stairs to a comfortable, spacious 2 bedroom apartment with balcony. It feels like a tree house with modern amenities. The kitchen has a two-burner ceramic stove top, microwave with oven, toaster, hot water kettle, fridge and coffee maker.

Our remote OFF GRID Hideaway (NO RUNNING WATER) gives visitors an experience of wilderness a few short miles from Two Harbors and the shore of Lake Superior. Limited solar power is supplemented by battery, and propane lights. Furnace and oven/stove are propane. There is an outhouse, a grill, fire pit and indoor wood stove. We supply firewood and water for washing dishes and hands (hooked to a spigot). Hike or snowshoe 20 acres of onsite trails or nearby SHT and state parks.

Come stay on our hobby farm with us! We have a great location only a few miles from ATV trails. There are a lot of great hiking trails and falls to visit in the area. We custom designed and built this home in 2020. We have a queen bed with an adjustable head and futon. It has in floor heating and a mini split to stay toasty warm in winter and cool in the summer. It has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, propane stove and oven, and microwave.
