A friend and I stayed at Maria's place as we were visiting Calheta for the first time. From my initial outreach to Maria, she was always responsive and very accommodating. Maria and her family were very welcoming and friendly. They hosted us for a lovely breakfast and a few unexpected friends even came over. Maria's place is in a very walkable area and close to a beautiful cliff over looking the ocean. Highly recommend.

The place was spacious, way larger than the photos present. It was a lovely surprise. The house, community and host welcomed us as if we were family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, peaceful, safe, beautiful, with a beach up the road. There are restaurants around and stores walking distance. We are very lucky and grateful to have found this place and definitely recommend!

My wife and I spent three great weeks in Ina and Za's apartment. First of all, I would like to highlight the hospitality of the hosts and their maid, Chuchuca, the good communication and directions for getting around Praia and Santiago. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with lots of light and all the essentials. The building is attractive, modern and in perfect condition. Keep in mind that it is on a main road, so the eventual noise from a reckless driver is inevitable in the living room, although there are good windows to mitigate it; in the rooms it is much less noticeable and in the end we found it tolerable. Terra Branca is a popular, well-served and safe neighborhood; easy to reach, about eight minutes from the center by bus (No. 2). Very close to the apartment there are two well-stocked mini-markets, and the small Terra Blanca market is about a six-minute walk away. On the way to the market you pass through the famous Rua d'Arte, designed by Tutu Sousa. A magnificent experience!

"Beautiful accommodation with warm hospitality!" The apartment is beautiful and is right in the middle of the action – perfect for taking great excursions from there. Our hostess was incredibly warm and attentive. Upon arrival, we were greeted with drinks in the fridge. She and her daughter took the time to go shopping with us and show us the best shopping. Throughout our stay, they were always there to help and were very helpful. We felt completely comfortable and welcome – absolutely recommended!
