Peaks Island vacation rentals

This is really for someone who appreciate small details of the place(decor and so on). Within walking distance to basic necessities. Reasonable Uber fares to all places(Airport, Train Station, Old Port, Maine Mall).

We rented the house for a Happy occasion, our daughter’s wedding. The space was bright, open, clean and able to accommodate the activities and relaxed, feel that we were trying to achieve. The breezes off the waterway, three blocks down and around us was easily achieved by just opening a few windows. No air conditioning needed whatsoever though each room was well appointed with same. The third floor is a magical space, though we were unable to fully utilize due to the circular staircase. Our upstairs guests measured too tall and too broad to navigate easily. Laundry room, extra pillows, and so many towels available made it easy to be comfortable We will long remember this happy home as ours during the most special time of our daughter’s wedding. We hail from New York but lived in Portland (in Rudy’s place) for those five days. Grateful. We would recommend the space to anyone who asked and would come back again. Thank you

Jeffrey’s guest house is super special, it was amazing to be able to look out every window to experience coastal Maine and so serene and peaceful. Located on a beautiful property right on the bay in a wooded setting. Very private and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay - in fact we extended it another 3 days to be able to enjoy it longer. Jeffrey was very accommodating and even credited us for the 2nd cleaning fee charged by Airbnb because we needed to change our payment method for the extended stay. I can’t say enough about the comfy bed!! I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud with super soft sheets and perfect mattress. I wish all Airbnb hosts were as thoughtful about the personal touches as Jeffrey. I had to work a bit during the trip and the internet was very stable and easy to connect to. It was a perfect retreat for us. Highly recommend staying here! We will. Definitely will Return!

My wife, myself and our pup loved our time at Christine’s. Thought it was a great value for the area and we appreciated how many little extras were included (snacks, beer, wine, seltzer, toiletries). Location is great for walks to East Prom or Old Port, and parking is a breeze with the dedicated driveway. It is a cozy fit if you’re a bigger person (I’m 6’ and I had just a few inches of clearance from the ceiling).

We loved our stay (late May, 2025). The weather did not cooperate but the house was perfect. Thank you Debbi!

The upstairs apartment was perfect for our stay in Portland. It’s clean, cozy, and a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

We had a fantastic time at this cute and cozy cottage! It’s within 15 minutes of basically anything in the Portland area and the cottage itself is so charming and inviting. We only wish we had planned to stay here longer!

We had a great stay! The house is very nice with a view of the bay and the screened in porch was an great place to be outside but away from the bugs. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the house had everything we needed with appropriate notes in all the right places.

micheles place was incredibly well stocked with helpful and cute amenities and convenience items! the view and accessibility to the beach is incredible. Michele was very welcoming and we appreciated all of the recommendations she provided. the guest house is quite small but met my and my husband's needs for a quick getaway. thank you for your hospitality!

This stay was absolutely what I needed. Housing is close together so I was slightly confused about which house at first. But, once I knew, it was very accessible and easy to get settled in. Shawn was very great at checking in and making sure we checked-in & out okay. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is located right down the road from two different state parks as well as a few amazing restaurants. Overall, the house was extremely clean and the internet was very quick. I would definitely stay here again!

We just returned from an amazing stay at Ani’s cottage! It was centrally located, but very quiet and was in a great neighborhood. We walked to some great bakeries and coffee shops, and it was not far from the old port. Everything was extremely clean and the house was well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. It was nice to come home after a long day of sightseeing and relax. I would definitely return to Ani’s home and highly recommend it!

Heather and Dan were super helpful during our stay when we ran into a few issues. Really friendly and their beautiful cottage was perfect for our romantic weekend getaway. Would love to stay here again!

We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy lakeside cabin. The setting is everything you’d hope for—peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. Mornings were magical, with beautiful sunrises enjoyed from the porch. We took the canoe out at sunset and it was just perfect—calm water, glowing skies, and total serenity. The cabin is simple, clean, and full of character. We felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and soak in the beauty of nature.

We truly enjoyed our time in this home. Absolutely incredible views of the water and many outdoor seating options so you can soak it all in! Very simple inside, but you have all that you need!

We had such a great stay at Porches!! It was the perfect spot for a nice long weekend family getaway. We loved how close it was to the water and to town. We will be back again, I am sure!

Our stay on Peak's Island at Gorges Sunset Two was nothing short of spectacular. The location overlooking the ocean is breathtaking . The actual condo was pristine in every way. Perfectly clean with every amenity. Our host was available to answer any little questions we had. The island was amazing. We were able to walk several miles all the time overlooking the ocean! I highly recommend this place. You pretty much didn't have to leave your bedroom or condo because you had such a beautiful view of the ocean..The little patio was just perfect. We felt so at home. I wouldn't even bother bringing a car eat out in Portland or grab breakfast on the Island. Perfectly peaceful and relaxing.

We had a car so this location was fine but might be a little far if you were planning on walking during your trip! With car it was perfect! 10 minutes to most places we wanted to go, a quiet street, cute place!! We would stay here again!

We had a great stay at Capt Gene's! He was very helpful before our trip with giving ferry instructions which made our first day less stressful and more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Capt Gene's!

Great little airbnb on the island. Private and easy to get to! Everything was clean and had the basic necessities. Would definitely visit again!

Stayed here as a group of ten for my bachelorette party - incredibly unique place to stay, especially if you don't live in Maine. The sleeping arrangements were definitely a bit tight for a group of ten, which Laura kindly warned us about prior to booking, but it was perfectly fine for just a couple of nights. Gorgeous views even in the rain. Loved taking the ferry to and from town! Can't wait to come back.

The views were amazing and the place was perfect! They’ve thought of everything (beach chairs, extra linens, coffee) and the flowers and birds make the property even more lovely. I stayed with my daughter and there is privacy within the space. The beach is a five minute walk from the house. We will definitely stay again!
