My boyfriend and I rented Steve’s cabin for a birthday weekend and loved our stay. It was both recharging and relaxing. Being surrounded by nature all weekend felt grounding and the quiet was just what we were looking for. The bed was so comfortable and the whole cabin was so clean. Communication with Steve was great and he was so nice to chat with when we arrived. Although his home is just next door you’d never know he was even on the property unless you needed him. We did quite a bit of fishing during our stay and caught a pike on the first night! Thanks for a great stay!

The place is very clean, good mattresses and linen. Grace made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay.

A nice , quite and neat place to stay for us to view the red leafs. There are more than our expected. we have a good time to stay in there.

I absolutely LOVED staying at Jen's The Inn on Bay. From the moment I arrived to my departure, Jen was an amazing host. The room was clean and the bed had the softest sheets I've ever slept on. There were another couple and I who had to leave very early Saturday morning for our triathlon and Jen made sure we had our usual race meals. I also enjoyed meeting Evelyn who served our breakfast on Sunday morning. I will definitely be back next year ( maybe even sooner) to stay at this beautiful home and the hospitality that awaits. Two thumbs up Jen (and Evelyn) !

I had an unforgettable stay at Bala Bed and Breakfast, hosted by the wonderful Irene. From the moment I arrived, her warmth and hospitality made me feel completely at home. She’s not just a host—she’s the heart of the place. Her two dogs, Luna and Gracy, were gentle, friendly, and full of personality. Spending time with them was a treat. And let’s not forget Sparky, her lively bird who added charm and cheer to every morning. The breakfasts were phenomenal—fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and served with care. Irene puts love into every detail, and it shows. If you’re looking for comfort, great company, and a peaceful escape, this is it. Irene, thank you for making the stay truly special. I’ll be back.

I don’t have words to express how beautiful my experience was. Irene is so caring and empathetic towards all her guests. You can feel immediately you meet her how much she cares. Food she feeds us is made with so much love. She takes extra care in everything. My partner is vegetarian and she especially made him egg substitute and veggie sausage. You feel right at home at this place. She also has a game room (air hockey, pool table, foosball, arcade) where you can play late night as well. She also has sauna for her guests which we couldn’t experience as we were mostly out. But we will surely be back to enjoy the property and spend some more time with Irene. This is one of the most unique stays I have ever experienced in BnBs. Thank you Irene for everything!

when we booked we didn't really know what to expect. we were absolutely smitten by this charming place. the room was absolutely cozy and perfectly clean. the grounds are magical at night. we were able to swim, use kayaks, enjoy beautiful sunset or read on many muskoka chairs provided. the fire pit by the lake watching a full moon was a cherry on a cake. go see the glamping tents as the path is too beautiful to describe. you can make your own breakfast with so many food choices we made scrambled eggs...and yes fresh eggs from their own chickens. the waffles I opted for were delicious with fresh bluberries and strawberries provided. it is definitely my favourite place

Breakfast was amazing. Pumpkin waffles, fresh fruit and maple syrup was to die for…. Paths are all well lit in the evening adding an amazing ethereal experience as you navigate from the bonfire on the beach back to the main entrance. Great for a quick getaway from the city and have a glamping experience! 🤙🏼😄🏕

Staying with Irene and her family was very pleasant and convenient for an overnight stay after attending a concert at the Kee. There was no problem at all returning later in the evening and she had the best recommendation to save money on a cab if it was needed. The room was large and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was homemade and delicious! Would stay again if attending another concert!
