Family-friendly vacation rentals in Paris

I have rented apartments in Paris and in the South of France for ten years, always for about a stay of one month. Carole's apartment was a stand-out and I loved everything about my stay there. I have already rented it for a month next year. The apartment is lovely-it looks just like the photos and feels spacious enough for a long-time stay. Everything worked well, the apartment was thoughtfully well-supplied for a long stay, and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment was incredibly quiet. Carole is a wonderful host. My early arrival went very smoothly and Carole explained well how everything works in the apartment. She is a very personable, welcoming, efficient and accommodating host. Cleaning service was done well. I always stay in St-Germain-des-Pres as it feels the most archetypically Paris. The Metro and RER stations are a few minutes walk. Lots of everyday stores, eg, grocery, pharmacy. Lots of restaurants, cafes-my friends in Paris usually come over by me. Thank you, Carole!

Appartement comme à la maison : grande clarté, décoration chaleureuse, confort, propreté, taille de l'appartement... L'emplacement est parfait, à deux pas du Bon Marché et non loin du Jardin du Luxembourg. Je retournerai dans cet appartement que nous avons trouvé accueillant et très pratique. Bref, je recommande sans hésitation !

Eine schöne, saubere Wohnung mit einem sehr schönen Balkon. Die Anbindung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist etwas langwierig dennoch machbar. Isabelle ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Der Aufenthalt bleibt uns sehr gut in Erinnerung.

An incredible home, with an incredible host! Fred was extremely kind and an attentive host my entire trip. The space was better than the pictures and I enjoyed every single moment of my stay in this beautiful space. Fred made sure I was comfortable, offered many amazing local suggestions and all around was fantastic! This home is in a perfect central location with so many great restaurants and actives within walking distance alone. 12/10 experience for my first time in Paris! Thank you so much Fred!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderfully eclectic and charming Airbnb in Paris! The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, and cozy—making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Its unique decor added so much character, and it’s clear the hosts have put a lot of thought into every detail. The location was simply perfect—nestled in a vibrant neighborhood that offered the best of Paris right at our doorstep. From quaint cafes and bakeries to cultural spots and convenient transportation, everything we needed was within walking distance. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly authentic and memorable Parisian experience.

Just spent a week at this beautiful apartment! It looked like in the photos, it was beautiful with great decor, had everything we needed, was in the great area of St Germain, walkable to everywhere, clean, near the metro and supermarkets, and the hosts were proactive, friendly, and responded quickly. It was quirky - which we loved - but you need to be careful on the main stairs, and with differing levels eg down to one of the bathrooms. Some have mentioned noise from local bars - yes on a Friday and Saturday night it got a little louder but that was part of the atmosphere. We heard and watched the reaction to an important football game for the local team (they won), and the church bells rang out when the new pope was chosen - important events that we enjoyed so much more for being there. We were really sad to leave this apartment and Paris but would definitely return. Would use the hosts Glamaparis again too

We loved staying at Sabine’s apartment. It is off a quiet street in a beautiful area. The apartment itself is so charming! I couldn’t wait to get back after a long day away to open the shutters and windows. Very walkable area with restaurants and shops galore. We would love to come back and stay longer! Zunächst, ich bin neu hier und habe keinerlei Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren 2 Pärchen für 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Es gibt eine Toilette in dieser Wohnung, was in der Regel ausreichend ist. Die Bäder sind etwas ungerecht aufgeteilt. Im großen Schlafzimmer ist eine große Dusche direkt auf dem Zimmer. Das ist definitiv die bessere Wahl. Das kleinere Schlafzimmer hat nur indirekten Zugang auf ein Bad welches sehr klein ist und eine Minidusche hat. Das reicht zum duschen aus, komfortabel ist allerdings anders. Das Wohnzimmer ist riesig. Die Küche ebenfalls. Leider gibt es keinen Geschirrspüler. Braucht nicht jeder, sollte aber Standard sein. Platz dafür wäre reichlich. Die Teppiche im Wohnraum haben keinen guten Halt auf dem Betonfussboden. Grad vor der Küchenzeile war das nicht ganz ungefährlich. Die Wohneinheit hat keine Klimaanlage. Grad zur Sommerzeit ist das ungünstig. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar. Blick über die Stadt traumhaft.

Wir sind 1 Monat in der Wohnung von Jean-Claude gewesen- wir haben ungefähr die Hälfte der Zeit dort gearbeitet, was sehr gut möglich war weil es einen kleinen Arbeitstisch gibt und das Internet gut ist. Das schöne ist, dass diese Wohnung wirklich bewohnt wird von Jean-Claude- das hat man leider nur noch sehr selten bei den Airbnb“s, es war aber die ursprüngliche Idee. Deswegen ist die Wohnung auch nicht wie ein Hotelzimmer. Es war alles sehr sauber aber es blättert halt die Wand etwas ab und es ist halt alles nicht perfekt aber das macht es auch charmant und es ist alles alt - sehr alt - nicht nur das Haus (das ist auch ziemlich schief) aber auch die Möbel und die ganzen Küchenutensilien und-Geräte, aber es ist alles da. Der große Trumpf ist natürlich die Lage- mitten in Marais - in 15-20 Minuten an der Seine/ Notre Dame - alles zu Fuß möglich aber auch öffentlich oder mit den mietfahrräder ist alles da um die Ecke. Ich würde sofort wieder kommen.

A must stay location, eclectic decor with wonderful Alexa technology for lighting. Very warm and inviting. Perfect location, attentive and accommodating host. We would definitely book again. If you come, bring sheets and pillowcases. Only bottom sheet provided. Otherwise pillow shams and duvet covers only. Five stars all the way.

We really enjoyed staying at Alexandrine’s place. This was our first time to Paris. The location is fantastic, steps away from many cafes, restaurants, shops. Easy access to other attraction. The area is safe, quiet, convenient. The loft has everything we needed Overall I would definitely recommend it to others.

This property is a gem in Paris. Eva was a great, responsive host and made our Airbnb experience very smooth and straight forward. Her home is incredible, so much character and charm. You can feel how much love and care has gone into the space. We especially loved the well equipped kitchen and the amazing bath tub in the bedroom. The location is perfect, everything you could possibly want is in the surrounding area. Thank you for welcoming us into your home Eva! We would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Louis’ apartment. The apartment itself is very well kept and everything is clean and beautiful. Lots of unique and interesting touches. The lift was extremely helpful with our luggage and it worked very well. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Louis was an ideal host. He was extremely accommodating and provided us with prompt assistance whenever we needed it. The area around the apartment in the sixth is charming and anything you need is very close by. Wonderful cafés and restaurants and there is a supermarket just one block away. Almost everything is within walking distance, and Uber does come right to the apartment if necessary. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Louis’ apartment again.

Fantastic stay! The host was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and offered a wonderful apartment. The location is perfect, with everything in Montmartre just a short walk away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Philippe’s charming and cozy apartment. The location was perfect - baguettes and croissants, cute shops, and great restaurants right outside the door and an easy stroll to the Seine. We hope to return and again stay at Phillipe’s perfect Parisian spot.

A lovely apartment in a great location. We had very hot weather but managed with a fan. Piano was fun and the bed was comfy.

This was one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in, simple classic design in a wonderful location that is in a quiet plant-filled courtyard but steps away from the best restaurants in the city, with a perfect setup for working and cooking as needed. But what really stood apart was the absolutely beautiful and kind family next door, always available and helpful to answer questions (and give me new vocabulary words!) - we hope to return and you certainly should not hesitate to stay here (unless it is when we want to come back…).

Wow, the absolute perfect apt to stay in Montmartre for nearly a month!! Loved the location on Rue Tholozé, cozy classic Parisian apt, great cafes, bars and restaurants all in beautiful Abbesses. Walkable to any market you would need if you plan to cook in the very usable kitchen. Close by 2 metro stops to get you anywhere in Paris and beyond. Gala was wonderful, could tell by the vibe in her apt and her kind communication. We almost felt like locals!

Fabulous apartment in Paris!! We had a wonderful stay at Servane & Pierre-Jacques’ apartment in Paris. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, elegant and even more spacious than we expected — a rare find in the city! The location was ideal, in a lovely neighborhood with everything we needed close by. Check-in and check-out were smooth and perfectly timed, making the whole experience effortless. Servane provided detailed information about the apartment, neighborhood, restaurants and more. She was also extremely responsive with questions we had and when we needed additional help. This apartment deserves more than a 5-star rating. This is without a doubt the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Highly recommended!

For us it was the perfect place to spend a week in Paris. The appartment is well situated and perfectly equipped. Thanks to the conversation with Virginie we felt very welcomed.
