Penhalt 12 Cottage,Penstowe Kilkhampton,Bude

We had a great stay visiting friends in Kilkhampton. Everything about the property was as described. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The TV is large and sofas comfy. The beds were comfortable. I slept in the room with two single beds and had to put them together as they were quite narrow and more suitable for children. The shower is very good- hot and powerful. Parking is easy and convenient. My mother could not access the shower which is within the bath, so worth considering accessibility if this is a factor for future guests reading this- my bad to be honest. Electricity uses a pay-as-you-go meter. Top-up cards are available from the nearby holiday complex office (3 minute walk from the property). However it is only open for 3 hours a day in the afternoon and not Sundays. We stayed during a very cold week in March and spent £55 on electricity for the week as we had to use the elec heaters a fair amount which was quite alarming! No doubt it would be alot cheaper in summer

Cornwall Beach House - Panoramic Sea Views

BenjaminRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful stay, all the facilities were of a high standard throughout. Private garden with stunning views. Nobody wanted the holiday to end. Fabulous welcome basket full of local produce and a large Easter egg which the grandchildren enjoyed. Also milk in the fridge and a crusty loaf in the bread bin. Thank you Julie, we will definitely book again.

Three Little Pigs - Your home away from home.

We could not recommend this place enough! We had a wedding to attend over the Bank Holiday weekend and came across Jenny's place. It was very easy to find and we were given extremely detailed instructions incase our sat nav did not direct us to the exact location It felt so homely and everything we needed for a weekend stay was provided! The place was completely spotless and was so peaceful We were also welcomed by a bag of homemade fudge which was incredible! We can't thank Jenny enough! It was the perfect place in an area which allowed us access to all the areas we were interested in! And of course, value was money was extremely good! Book with no hesitation!

We stayed here for 5 nights, with our toddler & teenager, the farm had something for everyone! Beautiful views, very warm indoor swimming pool, games room with soft play, pool, ping pong etc. we were lucky enough to book the cottage with our outdoor space that was enclosed so perfect for our toddler. They had thought of everything! Stair gates, plastic cutlery, changing mat! It was amazing! Would highly recommend here! The farm animal feeding was amazing on Wednesday morning with Ruth! We all loved it! Kilkhampton not too far away either & Bude was beautiful! Would definitely recommend to anyone!
