Lilu's place was absolutely stunning. The room was so clean and had a large bathroom. Lilu met us outside and was so kind and helpful - she even offered to do some laundry for us. The breakfast was delicious. Walking into town was easy and quick along the railway, and it was also a beautiful walk to the top of the falls and Ella rock. If I'm ever in Ella again, I would absolutely stay here!

Dimuthu was a great host. The moment we enter the place he gave us a small tour and took us to a private waterfall next to the house. He was kind enough to show us around, recommend restaurants and tuk drivers. His family was always nice and we even got some food one day, really friendly people. The house itself looks like the pictures, it is really spacious, there’s a fish tank!, it’s a really peaceful place to stay. My favourite part was the privacy of the place, just accompanied by puppies, monkeys and fireflies. It was a pleasant stay and Dimuthu was a great host.

Sumith’s place is literally a hidden gem. The attention to detail, passion and love he puts to the every single detail stand out and the food is just next level amazing! Rare find 💎🙏

Mevanda’s place was very special. Words cannot describe the beauty and peace of waking up to the lush mountains every morning. The peaceful oasis I needed. The company of his animals was much enjoyed. The food was delicious, breaky and coffee included everyday! And dinner for a good price. The staff were lovely and Mevanda was great to chat too, with lots of good advice. It is not close to town, however I liked this. You can always take a day trip to town and come back and relax in the afternoon. Close to many hikes, coffee and tea plantations. Showering in the small waterfall, 1 minute walk from my room was a highlight. I would recommend to everyone this experience. I will be back with friends! Much love Sam - Western Australia
