Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Palo Alto

Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole back yard is. Sunset here were amazing. All kinds of wildlife. The smell of the California hills in springtime always refreshes. Dogs loved it (and couldn't quite believe it). We swung on the swing, sat in the gazebo, enjoyed basking in the balcony views.

Linda and Bob are wonderful hosts. We love their beautiful studio. The location is an amazing and we felt very safe and secure. Their property is a beautiful vineyard and the pool is right outside the studio. Lots of walkable paths, and our dogs Loved it. We will be back!

Me and my girlfriend needed a little getaway and this was perfect. There was a small ant problem and Maria had someone there to take care of it within an hour. Would highly recommend.

Mara is an exceptional host. Responded quickly to our messages. The property is beautiful with amazing views. We loved staying here. The only issue is the road up to the property- it is very winding and narrow. However once we got used to it, it is manageable.

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

It has been a lovely and very comfortable stay - very spacious living room and bedrooms, in-unit washing and drying machine, and great location - close to Safeway, Trader Joes and the Caltrain station. Would definitely come back.

We live down in Santa Cruz and wanted to treat ourselves to a poolside weekend in the mountains (and this place did not disappoint!!). Would certainly stay again and appreciate how communicative the hosts were. As we get into summer we should have known better and brought our citronella candles because the mosquitos were out with a vengeance and forced us inside- so we recommend prepping for bugs if you want to stay poolside for sunset.

The place was perfect for our stay. Spacious and has everything we need. Wrich was responsive and helpful.

We spend 5 days in Il Hwa’s place to visit old friends in the area and I can only says that the place was great. It’s clean, spacious and well located for us. We were worried about the house being next to the airport. However, the house is well isolated, so in the house the noise isn’t too bad. Outside in the garden, though it is very loud. Altogether, we had a great stay and would come again. Thanks Il!

This space is an appartment, not a house. There are other tenants in the building. It was perfect for what we needed. There is a great view of the bay. The parking is difficult if you have a vehicle, but i imagine this is the case wherever you are in the city. The hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. The location of the apartment seemed safe and we didn't have any issues.

We had a lovely stay! Jenny is the perfect host she accommodated all our needs and requests prior to our stay and during. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable very clean and functional. Would highly recommend the place !!!

Absolutely enjoyed! The home was so welcoming and cozy, a picturesque beach cottage. The outdoor space was so beautiful and peaceful. Great location that is quiet and close proximity to the beach and trails. Guliz was very friendly and responsive. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the home. Would absolutely recommend!

Pirooz and Fara have created a beautiful and relaxing space with comfortable beds and sheets. Having previously stayed at an AirBnB that was attached to an owner’s home, we loved the privacy of this apartment and never heard a peep from the salon or any guests in the downstairs residence. Pirooz and Fara were friendly and communicative hosts who reached out to see if we had any questions or additional needs. The nearby apartment complex did have residents who were very noisy late at night (after 10PM), but that was no fault of our hosts. Pirooz and Fara’s place is very spacious and we were happy to have the convenience of a parking spot. There is a beautiful deck and large table where we would love to have spent time if we had a longer stay. As we were in town for our son’s graduation and coming and going a lot, but would love to stay again and enjoy a rooftop morning coffee or late afternoon glass of wine. Thank you Pirooz and Fara, for a delightful stay!

This is my second stay with Jessica and Florian. This two bedroom house with a sunroom and fenced in yard is my favorite place to stay in the area. It is clean and nicely decorated. The linens are very nice and they have taken care to make sure the beds are comfortable. I really appreciate that they welcome dogs. The kitchen is great and easy to cook in. Thank you for having us!

Great stay. Safe neighbourhood. Great flat walking. Tree lined streets. Cute little place. So great being able to ring your pet if needed… could not tell at all that dogs may have been in the place. Super clean. Great shower! Entry and exist is very easy. Thank you

This place was awesome, we did know the area and it was perfect regarding location to friends and events we needed to be at. Yes we did research to find such a place, and this was it...given the location and area the fee was extremely favorable given the location of the home.

We loved our stay! The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes from a beautiful redwoods park and a short drive to the coast. This part of California is tucked away from the busy crowds of the Bay Area and feels remote. The Loma Mar outpost offers basic provisions and a restaurant a few minutes from the house, and Pescadero has a strip of shops and restaurants about ten minutes away. The house is lovely and comfortable, very peaceful.

Mari was so helpful in helping us book our reservation. She was very communicative, understanding, and supportive as we finalized the dates of our stay. The location is also very convenient - it's close to Stanford, but still quiet and comfortable. We were recommended to stay here and are so happy we did. We appreciate Mari very much and look forward to possibly staying again in the future!

Our family stayed at this home for four months while we remodeled our house nearby. It was wonderful. The neighborhood was peaceful, the neighbors were friendly, the home was clean and had nice updates! It really felt like home. Nick and Tanya were super responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend this home to a family looking for a short or long term place to stay. The fenced yard was really fun for our kids. What a nice find this house has been for us!

Lisa was wonderful to work with, responsive to questions and accommodating. Area is normally cool, and while room does not have its own HVAC, host provides space heaters or fans in the room, and the stay was comfortable. Good option if looking for a small, quiet, affordable location in Palo Alto. Location is near the end of a no outlet road, so no traffic and quiet neighborhood.

Great stay at Wei and Silvia’s home in Palo Alto during our visit for Stanford graduation. The home looks small but is actually quite large with very comfortable furniture for both relaxing and sleeping. Kitchen is very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. The home is also close to shops and restaurants on University Ave. (5 minute drive or 15 minute walk). Wei and Silvia were also great at communicating regarding check-in and house policies (which were all very reasonable).

Really clean and great Amenities. Feels like home :). Mike is very responsive.
