Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Palm Cove

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

Excellent stay at Coconut Blue. Peter and Carmen were fantastic hosts. They were proactive and considerate, with clear instructions and regular check-ins to ensure everything was okay. The accommodation was spotless, walking distance to everything local, comfortable, and relaxing. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a great few nights here around the Ironman 70.3 - Marco is a fantastic host and made us feel right at home! We'd highly recommend.

This home is the epitome of relaxation, style, and wow factor. It has absolutely everything you could need - all the simple touches that make it feel like a home away from home. A short walk from the local hot spots. A view from the backyard that will make you want to stay forever. So many spots to relax, sit back and unwind with the sound of the ocean right at your doorstep. Lovely hosts who shared all the important details. 10/10 ⭐️✨⭐️

This place was an amazing large space excellent pool with great garden setting , felt private too quite unique from other arbnb’s It was very comfortable and spacious having a lot of older kids in a blended family staying No one felt they couldn’t have their own space Only small things that could of helped was their were no bin bags or dish washer powder and the ice maker didn’t work but their was plenty of ice when we arrived there are board games and pool rings and towels the pool was making us itchy on the last 2 days Wendy was great communicating with us but not sure what it was in the end so couldn’t enjoy the pool on the last 2 days Other than these things the place is fantastic and an easy walk to palm restaurants and beach

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!

Beautiful home and in a gorgeous area!! If your about that town life you might be best to look at a location closer to the city as we had troubles getting Ubers as they didn’t wanna drive that far out. Other than that the home is absolutely stunning and just around the corner is the crystal cascades which is definitely something to see !!!

We loved our stay at Eleonora’s place. It exceeded expectations in every way. It had everything we needed, including quality kitchenware, a great outdoor area including a BBQ and wine fridge. The home was sparkling clean and comfortable for our stay. We used the pool every day which was heated to a comfortable level. Loved it and have no hesitation in recommending to others. Eleonora as an excellent host and quick to respond.

A lovely unit in a great location. The gardens and pool are really beautiful, such a relaxing spot! The kids had a great time in the huge pool. We will definitely be back!

From booking, to arrival where Tony met us and helped us to the apartment and explained all the bits and pieces, to (sadly) finishing our holiday. All communication was 10/10. This was our first proper holiday with our 8mo, Tony and Yuka made everything so seamless with an infant, portacot, highchair, change pad, toys - they had it all! Even a non-slip mat for the bath. The accomodation is within the stunning Pepper’s resort, a few steps up into the apt and it overlooks the lagoon pool + gets lovely sun across the day on the balcony. The bedroom windows create a lovely breeze throughout too. Overall had the most incredible time, would be back in a heartbeat!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Shan’s place, and wish we had booked longer! Shan provided easy to follow information, and everything was exactly as described. Extremely clean and comfortable! A lot more spacious than we expected, and my border collie had lots of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful breeze on the balcony..he was very happy! The rain head shower was amazing!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook or order in, with quality fittings. The location is perfect, and we felt very secure in this lovely building and surrounds. We had plenty of off street parking, which is a great help. We are definitely visiting again soon and highly recommend Shan’s place for a relaxing and comfy stay! Thanks Shan!

We just wrapped up 7 gorgeous relaxing days at chrissys place. It looks even better than in the photos, the balcony is brilliant and the flat was equipped with everything we needed - we felt right at home! The ideal location was also a favourite but what really stood out was chrissys care and kindness. Responsive before we arrived she was aware it was our baby moon and my birthday trip and had some lovely presents waiting which was the nicest touch! Felt like we knew her forever. Thank you for your warmth, genuine kindness and for all the effort you put into this place we can’t wait to come back! Chloe and Tom and future baby

Palm cove is the perfect location for a holiday. Peter and Satina apartment is the perfect place to stay ground floor access to pool and all amenities. We will return.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

Highly recommend Anne's place. A fabulous apartment in a gorgeous Resort! The spa on the balcony was a luxury and so wonderful! Absolutely cannot wait to go back and stay at Anne's place at the Peppers Resort in the beautiful Palm Cove.

Beautiful location and easy access to the beach and local restaurants. This apartment is a private rental amongst a very large resort at Palm Cove, so can be a little noisy with families etc Kitchenette is on the small side but most people probably dine out at the numerous restaurants around the area. Also, the place is listed as 2 bedroom however, it is only a thin frosted plastic panel between the bedrooms that provides very little privacy. So I'd only recommend for very close friends or family.

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It felt like home. We had everything we needed and more. We can definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Cairns.

The apartment is fantastic, extremely clean and equipped with anything we needed. We particularly appreciated the Nespresso machine, and the pantry well stocked with Nespresso pods (our favourite flavours!). The building is clean and safe. Andrew has been a great host, and has been consistently in touch with us throughout our stay. He even offered us a late check out at no extra charge! We will definitely book this property again, should we come back to Cairns!
