Here is an older cottage with a lot of charm to rest in. Breakfast included! The kitchen in the cottage is simple with wood stove, electric mini oven and microwave. Possibility to use fully equipped kitchen in the residence where also toilet, shower and washing machine are available. The wood-fired sauna heats well and there is also a hot tub and battery powered shower. On the porch, the water is heard from the creek and a stone staircase leads you down to a lovely place for coffee break. Borrow the kayak and paddle up from the pond.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Which is close to nature but also centrally located in Söråker. It is a completely newly built cottage with high standard standard. One bedroom with 180 cm comfortable double bed and one room with a 120 cm comfortable single bed. We have a nice sofa bed that will be 140 cm wide where you can sleep two as well. Wifi is available and a nice bathroom with shower and both washing machine and dryer.

We were able to rent this house during our emigration process from the Netherlands to Sweden. The house is fully equipped, and the landlord was very helpful with questions and is there for you when necessary. We felt at home and welcome during our almost 3 month stay. The area of Ragunda and Hammarstrand is very beautiful in winter in combination with the snow. There is a supermarket in Hammarstrand and for shopping we usually went to Östersund or Sundsvall. It was exactly what we were expecting. Idyllic Swedish summer house. We didn't miss anything. Lots of beautiful nature. A huge kitchen table to play even the biggest board games. Ideal for nature lovers, for fishing, hiking, canoeing. The closest supermarket is about 14 km away. There is also a small pizzeria with a German-speaking owner. Very nice and accommodating landlords. The pronounced peace and quiet should be mentioned.

A well affordable accommodation, close to Indalsälven , quiet and comfortable, there was everything needed for 1-3 people, natural products were available to use, will stay there more times

Incredible kindness and generosity was shown by these hosts as they took our booking last minute and even helped us find someone to help get our car unstuck from ice. We truly cannot thank them enough! The house was lovely and in perfect condition and the surroundings were so stunning we were left speechless many times. Words really can’t describe the beauty of Jämtland and the kindness of these hosts! Fully recommend! Ten stars:)

This is a lovely little house with a homely feel. It has been lovingly restored so that it has every modern convenience but still has a traditional feel. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need and lots that you won’t. The surroundings are very peaceful. A very restorative spot.

It was the perfect hangout in our search for our own house in Sweden. Located near great places and perfect for short or long stays. Hosts were super welcoming and immediately helped us whenever we had questions. The house is nicely renovated and has all modern comfort, the bed was awesome! You need a car for most of the outdoor activities but it’s a great home away from home to start from.
