Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Thank you very much.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

The house is very pleasant to live in, spacious, and very bright. The surroundings are magnificent for walking, along the lake and in the forest.

This is a really beautiful lakeside house with amazing views. The house has a really stylish interior design done with taste, very unlike the standard Ikea experience. We had a fantastic holiday with kids and did a lot of activities, such as sup boarding and rented bikes at Lahti.

A peaceful and cozy place to stay in an incredibly beautiful location by the lake. Great hiking trails start right next to the accommodation. It was wonderful to sit on the glazed terrace and on the beach sauna terrace admiring the summer and nature.

Many thanks to Anne-Mari for the hospitality! The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped and sparkling clean. From the kitchen window you can see the ski jumping hill. We were at the Lahti ski games. The event was a 5-minute walk away. Supermarket and downtown are also within walking distance. We felt at home in the apartment. We especially enjoyed the sauna! Thank you for everything!

Best place you can find four your stay in Lahti, amazing host who kindly prepared the apartment for my stay and offered his help and tips about activities and food. Tero showed me his place and was flexible with check in and checkout times, always willing to offer me a great stay. I came with a group of family and friends to race in the Ironman 70.3 WC and we all loved our stay. I would give him more stars if it was possible. Thank you for everything :)

The room was full when we were 7 + dogs, but even for us this was a working solution. We found a bed for everyone and we enjoyed the sauna and pond. It was nice!

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

Lovely little lakeside cottage. Quiet yard, even though the sounds of the road are heard.

The cottage is beautifully quiet with private access to a small lake. The garden invites you to relax with its many different seating areas and loungers, the jetty is ideal for morning yoga. It is important to know that there is no real shower. But you can wash wonderfully with water heated by the stove in the sauna. The really well-equipped kitchen is great. Pans and knives are in great condition. There are also many spices and various kitchen appliances. Jaana was very friendly and helpful in written contact. We'd love to come back to this idyll!

A peaceful cottage by the pond. The cottage was clean and everything you need can be found, so it's easy to go to the cottage. The lakeside sauna provided good steam baths and you could cool off in the lake. Communication is really easy.

Beautiful location, very peaceful. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Cleanliness could be slightly better as there were lots of traces of dogs. Better curtains to block the light downstairs would also have been appreciated. Otherwise, everything was great.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Birdhouse. The cottage is in a quiet location by the lake, very spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. I also always appreciate the blackout curtains in the bedroom and the beds were comfortable, we got the whole crew to sleep really well. The sauna had a shower that provided hot water, which also made it easier for the baby to bathe. Check-in was easy and checkout was flexible, Minna-Liisa responded very quickly. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back in the future!
