Go fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing (bring your own), exploring Enjoy watching deer, turkey, pheasants and nesting bald eagles. Hoses too! Plenty of frogs to catch (and release) and turtles to view. You will also find nesting Eastern Bluebirds around the property. Ducks and gees of all types visit the property. Wonderful accommodations. Steve and Whitney both made sure to communicate with us from booking all the way through checkout. We arrived to a goody basket full of treats, drinks, and a welcome note. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough essentials like pots and pans, seasonings, and even oven mitts. The neighborhood is quiet, although the train does come by fairly regularly. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and looking forward to possibly renting again next year.

This room was perfect for what we needed! My daughter and I attended a concert at Pine Knob but live almost 3 hours away so driving home was not an option that late at night. The space is exactly as described. Simple but everything we needed. Cindy was very responsive and flexible. The descriptive check-in pictures and explanations were very helpful, especially since it was dark outside when we arrived. The only thing I'd like to add is that GPS wanted me to pull into the "second left" driveway which is not correct.. so just look carefully as you arrive (not at any fault of the host). Thank you for having this as an option for people who need a quick, simple and easy rental! Would definitely stay here again!!

The power went out late for us but Carrie responded right away and was sending us updates from the power company as they were coming out. The views were amazing and we felt right at home!

Tip was very responsive and very accommodating. I left something behind and Tip was more than willing to get me my belongings back which was much appreciated. The Airbnb is neatly tucked away in some woods and offers serenity and tranquility. I am thoroughly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate once to stay here in the future!
