A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Hemlock Ridge Yurt at Maine Forest Yurts

We were exhausted but finally got to the yurt & it was incredible. Felt like 100 acres all to ourselves / our dog! We slept most of the time but the little exploring we did / our dog was just beautiful, quiet, relaxing!

Lake-House on water, East Lake, Near Waterville

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

Beautiful Harborview Farmhouse

Excellent farmhouse cottage on prime Owl's Head. True Maine living. Kerry is a perfect host, with great communication and easy to talk to. Her home is very dog friendly. It was spacious and entertaining enough for a family of 4. I recommend this home if you want to visit the area. It is well equipped with anything you might need. Thank you for a great time.

This is such a special place! The cabin is beautifully designed and the views are wonderful! David left perfect instructions as to how to live “off grid” and is quick with responses if needed. So much to explore durning any season- from mountains to coast! Hope to return- maybe during blueberry season!!

Cozy Lakefront Cabin * CampChamp

BenRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Overall, we had a very peaceful and smooth stay at this beautiful cabin! We found it with no troubles, hosts were very responsive, and the boats and board games were nice touches. We had a few minor issues (coffee container was empty and firewood costs were a bit steep), but we’d recommend the cabin and would love to come back.
The exterior of the cabin showcases an array of solar panels mounted on the roof, reflecting a commitment to sustainable energy. Snow covers the ground, contrasting with the structure’s weathered gray walls and bright red accents. Nearby trees stand bare against the clear blue sky.

Embden Earthship - Lakefront Getaway by Sugarloaf

This was my second trip to Loons Calling Eco-Cabin and Homestead and much like the first time, it did not disappoint! I brought my husband up this time, as a forced vacation, and have not seen him so relaxed in a long time. We spent most of our stay at the cabin fishing, kayaking, or swimming, and when we weren't on the water, we bicycled and took long walks around the pond. I've stayed at many AirBNBs, for different types of family vacations/events, and Loons Calling Eco-Cabin and Homestead is by far the most peaceful and serene place you could ask for when you just want to get away from it all! The host, Holly, and the caretaker, Taylor, are really friendly to communicate with and very responsive when you have any questions. My husband and I will be returning to the cabin, when time permits, to enjoy some more peace and quiet and to just sit and listen to the Loons.
A spacious outdoor deck is presented with a long picnic table surrounded by benches. A blue chair is placed nearby, with waste bins positioned against the wall. Lush greenery from surrounding trees creates a private, natural setting.

Secluded Harmony Cabin w/ Deck, Dock, Boats!

MichaelRating, 5 stars20 months ago
This was our return to this property. Was worth the return. Cabin was spotless and had everything needed as far as utensils, linens. towels etc. The property is very private and quiet. Lots of areas to hike, and boats and fishing tackle for the lake. Restaurants and activities in nearby towns are worth the short drives. Thanks to the host and we would recommend this property to all who want to get away without (really) roughing it.

They place was really cool. Lots of things included with the place such as a pool table, darts, lots of games. Amazon Prime was included so we watched that some. Some rod and reels were available and I caught a Musky in the lake. Centrally located about an 1.5 hour from Acadia National Park and Moosehead Lake.
