The nicest beach is right outside the door, next to the harbor, with pleasure boats, ice houses, restaurants and music. Possibility of 2 extra beds in the living room. Holiday apartment with its own fireplace - furnished in an old barn. Beautifully located in quiet and scenic surroundings with the possibility of beautiful bike/walking trips by the beach, in the forest, on the reef or around the island's many small harbors. In Thurø town there is a supermarket, bakery, inn and local beer brewery. Svendborg with cultural offerings and cozy shopping streets, the Øhavs trail, mountain bike trails, castles and museums are all within immediate reach. In addition, Thurø is a mecca for anglers.

The double patio door gives you the opportunity to open up, out to the water, as well as to go out on the private terrace, where your own outdoor shower is available in the summer. The boathouse is a separate residence from the main house, where I live with my 2 cats.

The apartment is ideal for exploration of the "ø-havsstien" walking trail and as a family "get a way" in the country side. Some of Denmarks most beautiful nature. The house lies on a smal road with no traffic. The apartment is a part of a traditional farm. It is build as a "modern house" inside the farm and has seperate entrances and garden.

Staying in our 75 square meter vacation apartment gives our guests a very special sense of vacation. When you open doors and windows, the sounds of the forest, the garden and the sea birds flow in. A scent of fresh sea air meets your nostrils. Our guests also experience the light as something very special. Especially when the evening sun sends its rays down on the surrounding islands, you have to pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming.
