Enjoy the best of both worlds - experience living in a quiet peaceful chalet by the canal and the energetic vibe of Amsterdam (28km or 17miles away) Depending on mood & weather, you can enjoy lakeside activities one day and city tours or Amsterdam nightlife the next. The chalet is located inside a vacation park (Proosdij) 900m or 10-15 min walk from the main entrance. Direct access to it is only by boat or bike. Stay in the unique location. estate "Het Veldhoen." On our estate, we have a fully equipped guesthouse which has every luxury, such as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living/bedroom. With public transportation at the doorstep, you will be directly at the Arena/Ziggodome in 20 minutes and in Amsterdam or Utrecht city center in 40 minutes. Schiphol is 45 min. by public transport, 20 min. by car. Outside the door is the river Angstel and the Vinkeveen lakes.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
