Cabin vacation rentals in Otter Lake

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

We had a boys' golf weekend and enjoyed Victor's place. It's right down the street from the golf course, a really good location. The place is nice and rustic, nothing fancy, just as described, which we really enjoyed. It's a relaxing cottage with a very laid-back atmosphere. We will book again in the future for a boys' weekend.

What a beautiful place! The dock area with hot-tub, picnic table and huge seating area in a serene lake setting with trees was incredible. The cottage itself clean and comfortable with many places to sit quietly or enjoy games together. I highly recommend! It was a cold and rainy weekend for us, but we still had fun! We can imagine how wonderful it would be in warmer weather! The hosts were very responsive to questions and very helpful.

We could spend a family vacation with 6 adults and 3 little children. It has been an ideal place for this. A nice and spacious house and beautiful surroundings! Excellent and very friendly contact to the hosts. Nearby hiking trail and only a short drive to Parry Sound. Over all an excellent stay!

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. Kyle and his wife have thought of everything….from the record player to playing some cards by the fire! Thank you for hosting us. We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The place had everything we needed—clean, peaceful, and filled with activities, especially fishing, which we really enjoyed. We were also so happy to spot river otters during our stay! Big thanks to Ash and Nicholas for being so accommodating with our inquiries. We just got home and are already wishing we could go back!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in the Muskoka region. It’s a perfect getaway cottage for a couple. We spent the whole weekend at the cottage by the fire relaxing and enjoying the views. Huntsville is a quick drive away if you need anything. We’ll definitely go back.

It was 5 stars for us . Not likely 5 stars for others . But differnt strokes for differnt folks . We had a great time and its a beautiful spot . We will definitely return

I can't thank Tiffany and Pat enough for being amazing hosts and helping me through a difficult time. I stayed there on two separate occasions. The location of the house is right on the lake and sitting and watching the sun rise was beautiful. Narrows Convience Store is down the street and so is Mikisew Provinvial Park. The house has all the amenities (more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at). I would rats it more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again so much!

Great rustic place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Reminded me of my childhood family cottage. It was private and had everything one needs in a semi offgrid location. Bill was prompt, accommodating and friendly. Bring more firewood than you'll think you'll need! Thanks again, Bill!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving getaway at Cara’s place! The place was extremely nice and cozy with everything we could ask for. The location was great, only 10 mins away from Arrowhead Provincial park, 15 mins away from all the restaurants in downtown Muskoka. The bed was also super comfortable. We had great sleep there. Overall, it truly exceeded our expectations and we would love to go back in the future!

This was our second stay at Sunmeet's cottage. We love how quiet and private the cottage is. We stayed a little over a year ago and this time around it was very similar to our first stay. The cottage is very clean and Sunmeet was very responsive. We celebrated my husbands birthday enjoying some amazing bbq'd food and then had a fire in the evening. It's the perfect place if you really want to get away from noise and people (in a good way). Everywhere we wanted or needed to go was 15-30 minutes away. Thank you again, Sunmeet!!!

I loved the location, lots of trails that you can visit around by car as well as local stores, marina, playground, lakes, etc. It was a quiet place next to no one on the lake. Everything we needed was provided, such as kitchen supplies, blankets, towels, etc. Amazing view from inside the cottage and on the front deck! The water is clear and sandy and shallow for little ones if you bring a infant/toddler like we did. Amazing stay overall

What an absolute amazing place to stay! Fantastic place to absolutely wind down and just take it all in. Nice short drive from Huntsville and Halliburton where we explored a few places. Felt better than home as it was so quiet, my home is not 🤣 Would absolutely love to go again in the future.

The Doma Lodge is a great little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything is well thought out, organized, and comfortable. The outside space is quite private from neighbours and is surrounded by forest. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

This was very very clean for a cottage/cabin. It was nice to see there were no cobwebs or insects inside! Right off the lake with a beautiful view. It was nice and quiet inside and peaceful outside. The owners were really nice folks that are alway nearby if we needed something! Definitely will be coming back!

Great location for walking into and exploring Port Carling with our pup. Town is very dog friendly with her allowed on patios and bowls everywhere. Nice lake - felt comfortable enjoying amenities even though it’s a shared space with other rentals on site.

Our Misty River Cabin stay was absolutely dreamy. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a beautiful time in nature. The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the cottage feel while still being very luxurious. Every aspect of the cabin from the comfy beds to fully equipped kitchen (and so much more) made it feel very bespoke and special. It rained almost the entire time, but we still enjoyed every moment as we could snuggle in the Muskoka room (with outdoor fire) and watch rain fall on the river as the birds sang, or enjoy movies on the cozy couch next to the fire. Our dog got to enjoy plenty of play on the little beach and shallow water too. It was wonderful to have a vacation the entire family could enjoy. We hope to come back soon!
