Cabin vacation rentals in Otter Lake

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

We had a boys' golf weekend and enjoyed Victor's place. It's right down the street from the golf course, a really good location. The place is nice and rustic, nothing fancy, just as described, which we really enjoyed. It's a relaxing cottage with a very laid-back atmosphere. We will book again in the future for a boys' weekend.

What a beautiful place! The dock area with hot-tub, picnic table and huge seating area in a serene lake setting with trees was incredible. The cottage itself clean and comfortable with many places to sit quietly or enjoy games together. I highly recommend! It was a cold and rainy weekend for us, but we still had fun! We can imagine how wonderful it would be in warmer weather! The hosts were very responsive to questions and very helpful.

The house is exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances one could hope for. All of the beds were very comfortable with clean bedding. The house boasts a perfect view of the lake and is peacefully tucked into the forest. Our family stayed to visit Sandhills Nursery nearby for Easter activities for the kids. The house is also driving distance to a lot of great hiking trails and outdoor activities. We will definitely be back!

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. Kyle and his wife have thought of everything….from the record player to playing some cards by the fire! Thank you for hosting us. We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The place had everything we needed—clean, peaceful, and filled with activities, especially fishing, which we really enjoyed. We were also so happy to spot river otters during our stay! Big thanks to Ash and Nicholas for being so accommodating with our inquiries. We just got home and are already wishing we could go back!

I loved the location, lots of trails that you can visit around by car as well as local stores, marina, playground, lakes, etc. It was a quiet place next to no one on the lake. Everything we needed was provided, such as kitchen supplies, blankets, towels, etc. Amazing view from inside the cottage and on the front deck! The water is clear and sandy and shallow for little ones if you bring a infant/toddler like we did. Amazing stay overall

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in the Muskoka region. It’s a perfect getaway cottage for a couple. We spent the whole weekend at the cottage by the fire relaxing and enjoying the views. Huntsville is a quick drive away if you need anything. We’ll definitely go back.

My wife and I got exactly what we needed with a weekend here! Quiet, peaceful, and extra bonus there is a generator! The power went out on us for a few hours, no problem! Generator ran everything and we had a great time! We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone! Perfect weekend escape

It was 5 stars for us . Not likely 5 stars for others . But differnt strokes for differnt folks . We had a great time and its a beautiful spot . We will definitely return

This was our second stay at Sunmeet's cottage. We love how quiet and private the cottage is. We stayed a little over a year ago and this time around it was very similar to our first stay. The cottage is very clean and Sunmeet was very responsive. We celebrated my husbands birthday enjoying some amazing bbq'd food and then had a fire in the evening. It's the perfect place if you really want to get away from noise and people (in a good way). Everywhere we wanted or needed to go was 15-30 minutes away. Thank you again, Sunmeet!!!

My friends and I had such a wonderful time at this cottage! The house was cozy and really well maintained and the outdoor view was absolutely stunning. Heather was an amazing host and answered all our inquires in a timely manner. Heather also provided very clear instructions to our group, making our stay that much more comfortable. We would totally book this place again and deeply recommend it for anyone looking for a weekend get away!

The Happy Place was a beautiful, quaint cabin with all the essentials for a peaceful nature getaway. Katie and Dave were thoughtful and proactive in providing check-in information and recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin had tons of charming details, was extremely well kept and offered a lot of privacy. Weather and prior engagements kept us from enjoying the outdoor amenities (sauna, fire pit, kayaks) but we did enjoy throwing on a movie from their great collection. We would certainly come again to this picturesque cabin.

What an absolute amazing place to stay! Fantastic place to absolutely wind down and just take it all in. Nice short drive from Huntsville and Halliburton where we explored a few places. Felt better than home as it was so quiet, my home is not 🤣 Would absolutely love to go again in the future.

The Doma Lodge is a great little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything is well thought out, organized, and comfortable. The outside space is quite private from neighbours and is surrounded by forest. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location for walking into and exploring Port Carling with our pup. Town is very dog friendly with her allowed on patios and bowls everywhere. Nice lake - felt comfortable enjoying amenities even though it’s a shared space with other rentals on site.
