Las fotos no alcanzan a describir lo maravilloso del lugar. La vista desde la terraza es otro nivel de belleza. Nos tocó luna llena y no se imaginan esa vista y el amanecer impresionante. En el depto todo impecable y de buen gusto. Gracias a Alejandra y al Sr Urs x sus atenciones en todo momento. Fue como estar en casa Pero a la orilla de la playa. Gracias

If all you need is the Caribbean just for yourself, Casa del Sol is da place. Tom Hanks movie «  Cast Away » with solar electricity for your mojito’s ice cubes and a very good bed :-)

Excelente atención de Diana, la persona que está a cargo y pendiente. Muy amables todos y el lugar tal cual se describe. El área de la laguna es preciosa y las vistas desde la casa son muy bonitas. Te hacen sentir en casa. El lugar muy seguro!!!

Si lo que buscas es privacidad, una zona súper céntrica, lugar tranquilo, con muelle privado, kayaks de uso sin límite y con estacionamiento, este es tu lugar ideal, nos la pasamos increíble, con una vista a la laguna maravillosa, el centro a 2 cuadras, restaurantes fuera del alojamiento y tiendas a unos cuantos pasos, flexibilidad de llegada, nos dejaron utilizar las instalaciones mientras nos daban el loft, y prácticamente el muelle era solo nuestro, pues siempre estuvimos solos, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos buenos días, Peter siempre abierto a resolver nuestras dudas, la conexión del WIFI era débil pero nos prestó un router y se solucionó rápidamente, la única observación es que le hace falta algunos detalles de mantenimiento y limpieza (nada que afecte la estadía), la puerta del baño no cerraba bien y la llave del lavabo estaba un poco sucia, además de que la cama rechinaba con cualquier movimiento, sin duda nos hospedaríamos nuevamente!

Our second time staying at this place. We love the location, the pool, and the roof top patio. The building manager is very helpful and offers local suggestions if asked. He works hard to keep the building and the yard looking wonderful. We will for sure be back again on our next trip to Mahahual.

Enjoyed our stay! Great location right on the beach. Having the restaurant downstairs was handy. The hotel staff were kind and courteous and beds were comfy. We really appreciated the waters and nespresso pods! We didn’t have time to use the beach club but it looked beautiful! The only suggestions would be to add more patio furniture (we wanted to sit outside but there weren’t enough seats for our group of 4) and use smaller key chains- The huge squares didn’t easily fit in our pockets or purses so were kind of inconvenient. It was perfect and relaxing! We will definitely stay here next time we visit Mahahual!

This is the perfect house for a large group. My party of 10 adults loved the house and the location. The pictures don’t do it justice. We especially appreciated the outdoor kitchen and the use of the Beach Club next door. Our host Luis was very responsive to all my questions. Checking in was a breeze! Pablo the onsite maintenance guy was great. He helped us with so much during our stay and he does a great job maintaining the house and the beach club. Thank you so much Pablo! Our overall experience was amazing and 100 percent recommend staying at this property!

Beautiful and quiet, excellent location. We used the kayaks every day and enjoyed the hammocks in front of the Lagoon. The loft-style home setup was great for our family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). We’d love to go back again one day!

The home is located right on the ocean. Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful. The ocean waves and breeze were very relaxing. We swam in the ocean every day also! The caretakers Samuel and Veronica were very kind letting us into the home, got us coconuts to drink and Veronica made my daughter a sweet stuffed bee animal. Samuel cleaned the beach every day also. Jennifer was extremely responsive and offered suggestions on restaurants in town. Highly recommend this home!

Hermoso lugar, todo muy lindo y tranquilo, la casa muy cómoda y acogedora. Super recomendable, excelente alojamiento.

Très belle situation avec accès privé à la lagune. Nous avons passé la majorité du temps à l extérieur. Tout y est aménagé dans ce sens. (Palapa, Hamacs, chaises longues, canoés, barbecue etc) La Clim dans les chambres est indispensable la nuit, au regard des températures :) L hôte est très réactif en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour au calme. Un vrai petit paradis !

Martin y su esposa son muy amables. Los perritos de la casa son una adoración. La playa es una maravilla hay peces en la orilla se puede nadar y disfrutar la arena maravillosa los kayak se disfrutan mucho. Recomendamos ampliamente visitar la casa.

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

Andrea y Perrine fueron muy atentos y amables. Las instrucciones para llegar a la casa fueron muy claras. Si tenías una duda contestaban casi de inmediato. La casa es increíble, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Estoy muy conforme y feliz con mi estadía. Espero regresar pronto.

El departamento me encantó; sin duda es de lo mejor en la zona. Lo más destacado es que tiene vista al mar desde casi todos los espacios: cocina, sala, habitación principal… algo muy poco común. Además, el balcón es el más amplio frente al mar en el que he estado, abarca todo el largo del departamento y tiene camastros y mesa con sillas para disfrutar la vista. Todo el departamento cuenta con aire acondicionado en cada una de sus piezas, aunque también puedes disfrutar de una suficiente y renovadora ventilación natural abriendo ventanas al frente y al fondo lo que te permite disfrutar de la corriente de brisa marina aún en el departamento. Ideal para descansar con total comodidad. La recepción y despedida de Marcela añadieron un toque amigable a nuestra perfecta estancia

El lugar estaba muy bonito, coincide con las fotos. La zona es tranquila y tenía todos los servicios anunciados. El único problema fue el sargazo en la playa... pero esto no puede controlarse. El penthouse con una hermosa vista y muy limpio y ordenado.

El lugar es muy bonito, el acceso es por un camino complicado pero es parte de la experiencia de estar lejos del pueblo y privado y no depende de ellos ese camino. El lugar es un 10 si lo sabes entender, es un lugar casero no un resort de lujo y las fotos siempre son más bonitas que el lugar pero en precio calidad destaca. La estancia estuvo bien, puedes usar los kayak gratis y explorar la laguna Lo único que mejoraría es que el baño no tiene nada de ventilación y lo que hasta por normativa tendría que tener. (Si pusieran un extractor para el vapor de la regadera o los olores del baño sería mucho mejor la experiencia

This was our second stay at Xcabal. We really like this place. It is easy to find and very close to town, but far enough to be quiet and tranquil. The rooms are very pretty and perfectly clean, with super comfy beds and bedding. The shower gets nice and hot and has awesome water pressure. The dock area is super: great for swimming or just lounging around to enjoy the beautiful lake. The staff is really nice and helpful and very chill. All good stuff!

Un lugar muy tranquilo para relajarte, exactamente igual a las fotos, siempre hubo buena comunicación.

Es un hospedaje muy bonito y cómodo con todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar y estar a gusto, la alberca es muy bonita, la zona de playa se ve bien pero no se puede acceder por las rocas y sargazo. La ubicación es buena solo hay que llevar comida porque las tiendas estan a 10 min en carro. Estuvimoa muy comodos en las habitaciones

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Teresa’s home! Check in was flexible as we were delayed in Tulum. Teresa’s instructions were always super clear and so we didn’t have any issue finding the house at sunset, also there is a hotel next door with a restaurant in case you miss the supermarket! The house is about 10 minutes away from Bacalar town, it has a perfect view of the lagoon and everything you can need inside. The lagoon is super private as most boat trips are over on the other side of the town also. We absolutely loved being there and surrounded by nature, I would very much recommend the house!
