Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Villa Aurora guest house with sauna

A fresh and cosy guest house with a sauna, with a nice sea view, located in a bay in the archipelago of Maxmo ca ½ h drive from Vaasa. For 2 adults (not suitable for children, but small infants possible). It is very well equipped and located only 15 m from the shore line. Two older bikes available for our guests. Suitable for use all around the year (electrical floor heating and A/C). The hosts are availible most of the time, and speak English, Swedish and Finnish.

Asunto on juuri remontoitu kauttaaltaan. 1950-luvulla rakennetussa talossa asuu rauhallista porukkaa ja vaikka asunto on katutasossa, kadun äänet eivät kuulu sisälle. Sopii hyvin 1-4 henkilölle. Asunnosta löytyy kaksi sänkyä sekä levitettävä vuodesohva 1-2 henkilölle. Ilmainen pysäköinti parkkipaikalla tai kadunvarressa.

Long ago the house served as a bakery. In adjacent house 5 more apartments and common areas with lounge.

Emmi todella ystävällinen, avulias ja helposti/nopeasti tavoitettavissa. Kohde siisti ja rauhallinen ja helteellä asunto oli ihanan viileä nukkumiseen. Oma sisäänkäynti niin ei turhia ääniä kuulu mistään. Loistava kohde, tulen ehdottomasti uudelleen kun seuraavan kerran Vaasassa.

Jacob Oasis turned out to be a great find and perfect place for us to have a birthday getaway! The house is very well equipped, and even though it was very windy during our stay, we enjoyed jacuzzi, sauna, barbecue and just looking at the water and watching sunrises. We even had a photoshoot! Great deal, highly recommended!

Varattiin samana yöpymispäivänä ja saavuttiin illalla kohteeseen. Oli helppo löytää. Pihalle kääntyessä avautui aivan ihana puutarha ja mökki ylitti odotukset. Kissa kävi meitä heti moikkaamassa tuvassa asti. Saunassa oli lempeät löylyt. Ulkoa löytyi leluja 3 vuotiaalle ja kaksoset pystyi laskemaan mökin lattialle leikkimään. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava astiasto ja tarpeet ruuan tekoon. Yö nukuttiin hyvin. Kiitos tästä kokemuksesta. Täydet 5 tähteä.

Lovely cottage run by Anders & Ann-Christine; we had such an enjoyable time chatting with them and visiting their workshop. They were very helpful and had everything that we needed too. Would love to be back again!
