A fabulous 2 bedroom, spacious, very clean, loft apartment. Everything you need to live here for more than 1 over-nighter... even dressing gowns available! The full-size fridge-freezer was a fab bonus! Hosts were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Beautiful property to walk around with very friendly chooks. So peaceful and quiet and close to town and the great Sunday Market. A super place to "chill" or use as a base for local exploration. I highly recommend it and would definitely use again. A+++

We really enjoyed our stay . Location felt really private and away from main roads . Location was great only two stops on the bus from the wharf . Having the car available was amazing , made travel around the island so easy .

We had a wonderful 5 days at Steve's place in Waiheke Island. The views are spectacular and never got old. Although a bit remote, this is what gives the home its unique character and peaceful location. The wineries aren't too far away but you will definitely need a car to get around. We leveraged Steve's rental car to get around the island all week. The house is on a bit of a slope that provides a better view but you have to be aware that you will need to carry suitcases etc up the gravel path and stairs. Steve was very responsive during the booking process and all during our stay. I would definitely recommend a stay here for the beauty that the island provides!

The listing is privately and conveniently located and is only a short drive to the different parts of Waiheke island. It is also well equipped — we appreciated having the electric stove, heater, washer and drying rack! Although the furnishings might feel a tad bit old, the space is very comfortable and spacious for 2! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. As the listing is on the upper floor and is surrounded by huge trees so it feels as if you are perched up among the big trees. If you’re lucky, you might see a few of NZ’s native birds close up~ We saw the NZ pigeon and tui on the tree branch in front of our window. We arrived after the sun had set and it was a little hard to spot the driveway from the main road in the dark (also shows how privately & peacefully located it is), so we’d highly recommend checking in during daylight hours~
