I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

We came to the Upper Peninsula for fall colors. The location (at the base of a ski hill) was right on the route for one of the best color drives in the area and close to the Copper Peak ski jump that offers rides to the top to see the surrounding countryside. The charging station for our Tesla was super close at the main lodge. Eric's place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked having the pinball machine for some extra fun.

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Nice quiet and relaxing stay with the family. Great hiking trails within driving range. Exactly what we needed.

Great quiet spot near skiing, hiking and all things UP Michigan, great kitchen and deck, sauna was wonderful, would be fun to return in winter for downhill or nordic skiing

We absolutely loved staying at Jason Black River Retreat! It had everything we needed, was very clean, the property and trails well maintained. We will be back!

Jon's place was a perfect home base for our long weekend trip to Snowriver and ABR Ski Trails. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and Jon was very responsive.

We had an amazing stay. The ski hill is right up the road. It was within minutes of the nearest towns. And lots of space for everyone to spread out. We will definitely book this again!

Stayed at this lovely home for a short weekend while we did some maintenance on a property we own nearby. Check in was so easy and the hosts would respond to any question within 10 minutes. The house was spotless and the carpets and living room furniture seemed new. Lots of extra towels, blankets and my 10-year old loved the Xbox! Extremely walkable to everywhere in downtown. Highly recommend!

Had a great time on our snowmobiling trip and stay. The house is three blocks or less to the trail head. The house is great perfect touch was the pellet stove and big driveway. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

This place is rustic and quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed the additional storage space to keep all of our ski gear organized. There is an additional sink in the one bedroom, which was handy. We didn’t use the fireplace or sauna, but cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to do so.

Brian's place was nice, neat, and clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. It was just as pictures showed. Very good location for snowmobiling, close to trails and restaurants. Host and housekeeper were informative and answered questions well. The only down side is its on the main highway so kind of noisy in the mornings, but not a deal breaker for us.

Lodge with individual canins on the beach of Lake Superior and 5 miles from Porcupine Mountain State Park. Very clean canins with fully appointed kitchens. Great window exposures and screened porches. I hope to cone again.

Lovely, communicative hosts with a great condo for our stay at Snowriver. Loved the location, comfy furnishings, and nicely equipped kitchen. Nice extra touches abound - shared books and videos available in the common area - and coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn in the unit. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Really appreciated the late checkout. We will be back!
