House vacation rentals in Ōhope

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was nice and tidy, had no issues at all. Views out both sides were probabaly the highlight and a lovely deck that goes around the house. Overall good layout and had a good time!

Joanne was amazing. She even baked a cake for my birthday 🥰 House was beautiful the location matched the house. Everything was perfect besides the weather but out of everyones hands. Very informative and communcation was a breeze. So much to keep the kids occupied for when the weather is crap lile how it was. Pool table, Table Tennis, Darts. Was amazing. Overall Amazing and absolutely loved our stay. By far the best weve had. Thank you to Joanne & her Husband. I hope youre was happy with how we left it🫣😄

Stunning views and a beautiful property. Came with family for a little weekend holiday and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. The house is so well laid out and designed, each bedroom has its own en suite and everyone had their own space to relax. While the weather was not as hot and sunny as we had hoped we still used the pool and spa and also enjoyed the game room. Great place to unwind and relax with family or friends!

Family of five, stayed for a week. Should have and would have stayed longer if we could. This place is great, and we loved it. New, clean and with a well planned set up. Has everything you need, including amazing appliances. Huge deck to sit on and enjoy the view. Comfortable beds. Walk to the beach. Just great. Host is great. Friendly. Clear instructions and helpful recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here.

House was warm and cozy, its a older home but has 2 heat pumps which easily warm the space. The toilet is just outside of the back door but the night was warm so the extra walk did not bother us. The back door is still covered with plywood and a window in the small bedroom is covered with cardboard but me and my group were not worried about security. We let the host know we would be arriving late and the outside light and heat pumps were left on for our late arrival.

Fantastic place just as you enter Ohope. Beautiful little spot, and nicely located so you can either conveniently surf where you feel along the beach. Will hopefully stay again for another weekend getaway. Cheers

We had a wonderful stay and would come back in a heart beat. Pia’s home is so comfortable and welcoming, with many lovely touches. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed every aspect of the stay - comfy beds, well appointed kitchen (with treats waiting for us), lovely gardens, great location. Laura, pia’s co host, deserves a special mention. She gave us a beautiful welcome, helping us settle in, and then when we left an item behind after checking out she dropped it off to us across town. I don’t think you can come across better hosts! Highly recommended - give yourselves a treat and stay in this beautiful home!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Darryl and Beths cottage. The cottage itself is so lovely for a getaway to relax; with everything you might need to cook with, it was spotless, beautifully furnished and decorated, and the size perfectly suited our family stay. The location is stunning, across the road to the beach or down the driveway to the harbor, and the general store, playground, wharf etc is a short walk away. Darryl is happy to give local advice. Came home very relaxed and happy. Awesome hosts, thank you!

Our choice to have a quiet weekend away was matched perfectly to the Cozy Cove. We booked in immediately after Tania-Rose had the link available. I look forward to seeing the changes that she will make and will definitely be a regular visitor. The description of the place is exact even though the neighbours at the back weren’t home, I can’t see any difficulty as you have your own parking area. Our needs were met to satisfaction. Wonderful host.

Had a wonderful 2 weeks over Christmas at Sherries place. Fantastic location across the road from the amazing beach, and walkable to the port and coffee shop. House contained everything our extended family needed for the stay with spots to go for some peaceful reading. Sherrie was lovely and friendly to deal with and little things like leaving the Christmas tree up and showing us around when we arrived early were greatly appreciated. Totally recommend.

Jane was a great host she was responsive and helpful. Finding the property and getting in was easy and check-out instructions were clear. The property has an amazing outlook over Ohiwa Harbour and is less than five minutes walk to the beach. It's got everything you want for a relaxing family holiday. This house is certainly a wee gem in the West End. It is the family home but when you arrive all the cupboards have been cleared of their personal belongings ready to make their house your home. This wasn’t expected but man was it appreciated! Fun games cupboard for the kids - try and beat our high score on Bop It! Tasteful decor and the knives in the kitchen were sharp!!!!!! There is a thoughtful herb garden which came in handy as the local Four Square didn’t have any fresh herbs! You can hear the waves lapping from the house and there is no need to set up at the beach as you can just walk across the road home after your swim. The outdoor shower is perfect to get rid of the sand and salt! There is a coffee cart, Ice Cream cart and the surf school basically outside your doorstep and a pizza trailer parked up for a day whilst we stayed too! Would 100% recommend Dustin’s house. Thank you for a fabulous week!
