My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5-minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

A well-arranged bed features a variety of cushions in shades of yellow and gray. A small bedside table with a decorative vase and cotton branch complements the neutral color scheme, creating a calming effect in the inviting sleeping area.
