Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

Drengestu on the farm Sygard Listed is newly renovated. The farm has no animals, but you live on historical grounds. Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, midway between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdals Cathedral). Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There are a number of nice hiking trails near the cottage. A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes.
